Play the film reels/Get access code :

Return to the projector room and use the bulb to repair the projector.

You then have to figure out the access code.

The code is 9241

After entering the code, get the last film reel. Go through the newly unlocked door and use the film splicer to combine the reels into one reel. Place the new reel into the projector, then run downto the screen and enter the picture.

Find Reward:

Once inside the picture, follow the sidewalk to the right and enter the house. Move past the staircase and open the door on your left. Cross the room and grab the wooden crank from the windowsill. Leave the room and head through the door at the end of the hall. Continue through the next door to enter a large room. Go to the table across the room with the jack in the box on it. Put your wooden crank into the jack in the box, and turn it until the box pops (gigity). Take the key from the box and climb the latter in the corner of the room.

The ladder leads to the attic. Use the key to unlock the trunk near the window. Inside youll find a golden gun and two boxes of pistol ammo. You now can return to the theater to complete the side quest

The Gramophone

Starting location: In Chastain Heights, in the two story apartment south of the movie theater

Before your able to enter the apartment to start the side quest, youll need to pull the retractable ladder down from the fire escape. There is a hook just across the street. Find the red shutter doors west of the apartment and grab the hook thats leaning against the building. Return to the latter and pull it down, then climb into the window and enter the building

Fix the gramophone:

After climbing in the window, youll see a gramophone nearby that isnt working. Youll need to find items to make it work again.

  • First item is located in the childrens room on the second floor. Climb to the top of the stairs and enter the room to your left. Collect the crank from the cabinet in the corner
  • Second item is the bedroom across the hall from the bathroom. Pick up the vinyl record from the dresser

Use gramophone:

After collecting both items, return to the gramophone. Insert the crank and place the vinyl record on the turntable. Turn the crank and play the record. After youve played it once, turn the crank handle in the opposite direction until a spirit emerges from a portrait above the stairs.

Shadow Play

Starting location: In the loft near the north edge of Chastain Heights

To start the side quest, enter the building and climb the stairs up to the loft

Find the four fragments and collect the tokens :

Approach the table in the corner of the room and use your lighter to light the candles at the top of the map. The UV light from the candles shows the locations of five symbols spread across town.

Soul- Eye Fragment:

Collect the soul-eye fragment from the nearby chair, and cross the room to find the symbol on the loft wall.

Place the soul eye fragment into the base near the symbol, then aim your UV beam at the wall. Rotate the fragment to match the revealed shape, then activate your flashlight. Adjust your position until the fragments shadow fills the space indicated by the hidden shape

When the soul eye shadow symbol is complete, the fragment transforms into the soul eye token.

Healing Fragment :

The healing fragment is in Pearl Creek, at the southwest corner of Cook St and Lansdale Ave.

Take the fragment to the healing shadow symbol in the park at the southeast corner of the same intersection. Rotate the fragment to match one of the missing shapes, then use the flashlight beam to move the fragments shadow into place. Once the first shape appears on the symbol, rotate the fragment to create the mirror image. Move the shadow into place to complete the symbol, then collect the healing token from the nearby barrel

Enlightenment Fragment :

The enlightenment fragment is in Pearl Creek. in the construction site between Lansdale Ave and Laymond Ave. Take the fragment to the base inside the Pearl Creek underground entrance. Rotate the fragment to match the hidden shape, the use the flashlight beam to cast the shadow on the wall. Move your flashlight until the shadow is in place and collect the enlightenment token.

Four Fragment:

The "Four" fragment is located on the north edge of Christain Heights, near the side quests starting location. Take the fragment to the Four shadow symbol in the alley way to the south. Use the fragments shadow to replace one of the missing shapes, then rotate the fragment to create the mirror image. After you complete the shadow symbol, collect the Four token from the cardboard box

Harmony Fragments:

Two separate fragments are needed to complete the harmony shadow symbol. When you reach Pleasant River, enter the control tower near the King Harmony drawbridge. Climb the ladder just inside the door to find the Harmony Part 2 fragment near the drawbridge lever. Now climb back down the ladder and follow the path down to the base of the tower. Continue under the drawbridge and enter the door past the harmony shadow symbol. Cut through the base of the control tower to find the harmony part 1 fragment as you exit the building. Grab the fragment from the cardboard box, then head back to the shadow symbol under the drawbridge.

Place the harmony 1 fragment on the brass base, and use the fragments shadow to first replace two of the missing lines. After the lines appear on the shadow symbol, place the harmony 2 fragment on the base. Use the fragments shadow to replace one of the remaining lines, then rotate it to create the mirror image. After you collect the harmony token, return to the loft in Chastain Heights

Solve the Loft Map puzzle:

After you collect all five tokens, you must arrange them on the map in Chastain Heights loft. After you light the nearby candles, the locations of all five shadow symbols are displayed on the map. AS you move each token from you inventory to the map, simply place it at the corresponding symbols location. Once all five tokens are in the proper location, a demon statue appears on the table and the quest is complete

Examine the bench near the end of the pier and select the urn from your inventory. After the cut scene, youll see some numbers on the bench. The side quest is now complete (the numbers on the bench are for the safe back in the building where you got the urn. For its solution, please refer to the puzzles section of the guide)

Dead Mans Hand

Starting location: In Pleasant River, in the house south of Rice St

To find the entrance to the house, follow the narrow path just east of the spillway. When you reach the yard at the end of the path, head inside the building. Approach the body in the utility room to being the side quest.

Locate the human heart :

Continue past the body and take the stairs down to the basement. Follow the path to the left to find a hole in the basement floor. Climb down through the hole to find a network of underground corridors. (If your playing on easy, simply turn on your UV light and follow the trail right to the human heart). Once you reach the bottom of the ladder, follow the path until you reach a three way intersection.

This spot is the main junction for the entire area. The path on your right leads toward the human heart. For the most direct route to the heart, begin at the main junction and then follow the corridor to the right. Each time you reach an intersection, take note of any objects or fixtures that you can use as landmarks. If its possible to turn right, then do it. If not, follow the path to the next intersection. Keep moving along the areas outside edge to find a gate near the end of your path. Head through the gate, then follow the walkway to the corner of the room. Take the heart, then turn around and backtrack all the way back to the ladder. Climb up the ladder to the basement and return to the utility room. Place the human heart into the body to complete the side quest

Mirror, Mirror

Starting location: In the Port District, in the house west of the King Ave drawbridge

After you enter the house, approach the mirror in the living room area to begin the side quest. You must now adjust items in the room to match the reflection in the mirror.

Solve puzzle mirror:

There are five intractable objects in the room: a portrait, a dresser, a tv, a lamp, and a candle. When the quest starts, one the these objects doesnt match its reflection in the mirror. Once you activate the relevant object, the reflection changes and all of the room resets.

The mirror cycles through five reflections. During each step, you must activate the appropriate object:

  • Turn on the lamp
  • Open the dresser drawer

  • Turn on the tv
  • Rotate the portrait

  • Light the candle

If you did it correctly, the mirror will break revealing some hidden objects. End of quest (I would like to mention that if you dont break the mirror within a few minutes, an invisible monster comes in the room and hes a bitch. So try to get it done as quick as possible)

There are some bugs in this game....for me in the homeless mission there was no fishing rod in the spillway, just outside of the Pleasant River underground entrance. I was playing simultaneously with a friend and he found it on that special point. There are also some bugs like some doors are not opening in the underground or other locations. Just wanted to mention. For me it wasn't possible to get the 100% sidequest achievement because of the missing fishing rod!

This is pretty tricky. I can only help with the procedure on normal difficulty. There I had to put in 3 films in the projector in each film is somewhere a number written on the wall when you enter the film in the cinema (just walk through the screen). Each fimroll has a numer ( 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) so you get the correct postion of the number in the door code. Afterwards you can enter the code and go in the cutting room where you put all three films together. Now enter the complete film through the screen and get the handle, put in in a small box on a table and open the box in the attic.

It's the door near the proyector. I've found the three films that Mc Fly (thanks to him) mentioned but when I try to use them on the proyector it does nothing... maybe I'm missing something.

lol im having a hard time figuring out which part your on. sorry for my stupidism. Is it for a side quest or just to progress? I dont remember getting stuck at the theater

I think the code your looking for is 9241. Then you collect the last film reel from the projector. Then use the film splicer to make them into a single reel.

Try to go downstairs to the main cinema room and walk into the film through the screen. Sounds strange but that was the way to get the numbers!:)

No problem.

I'm pretty sure it's a sidequest... at least it's not where I'm supposed to go right now, and I doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the story.

When I first examined the projector it said something like it was missing the bulb... I found the three film reels but no matter what I try, I'm not able to use them to see the images.

Sorry for my english.

Here's a photo, of course it looks like shit. I took it with the phone camera so excuse the crappy quality.

Now I undserstand your problem. To watch the films you'll need to find a light bulb, which was located on normal difficulty in the thrift store in Chastain Heights. There you'll find also the coat for homeless quest and a painting for the art collector quest.
