Written Monday, March 31, 2008 by Dan Webb

LONDON - 31st March, 2008 - Joining the fabulous line-up of puzzle games available on Xbox 360™, “MR. DRILLER Online” comes to Xbox LIVE® Arcade this Wednesday 2nd April at 9.00. In online multiplayer mode, players can participate in a split screen Solo Battle, where the best score wins, or in Tag Battle, where friends team up in pairs to beat the game.

Bah, Castlevania should not be the exception when it comes to XBLA games. Just wait for the Bionic Commando remake, Street Fighter 2 remake...and Ikaruga...it'll all be worth it.

These stupid puzzle games are getting old. And Microsoft charging 10 bucks makes them very easy to ignore.

i agree. I want SF2:HD Remix to come out already. Remake Guilty Gear on the XBLA >< 360 needs more good fighting games.

I never played Mr. Driller but always wanted to when it came out for the Dreamcast. But I won't pay up 10 bucks for this. I'm saving my points for SF2HD, Commando 3 (it brings a beta of SF2HD), and Ikurga.

What Microsoft needs to do is yes, stop releasing so many god damn puzzle games. Release more fighting games and classic beat em ups on XBLA. I'm tired of all these god damn puzzle games and even original titles because sereriously, I just want to play classic games knowing a lot of these original title games aren't that great. Very few are.

Also, they seriously need to lower prices on older XBLA games. They did it with DOOM and that other game but they seriously need to lower a lot of 400 point games to 160 points.

Well better having something released rather than nothing. I'm not complaining that we get at least one XBLA game a week. Sure most of them are crap, but at least it isn't PSN.

Dude, Thorpe, I'd get Theme Hospital in a heartbeat. I love that game. I can only imagine the crazy achievements that would come along with it. Maybe..."Treat every disease available". Haha, or "Have 1000 people total die in your hospitals". I'd get that one quick. :-(

Back to topic...yeah, I was never a Mr. Driller fan. I can't seem to get into most of the Live games, much less the classics. ha ha, I'm too picky for M$ to make any money off of me. :-p

Another puzzle game, again priced at 800 points.

Epic failure. Just reduce the price of some older games if this is all the new stuff they have up their sleeve.

Who said theme hospital?!

Great call - any decent theme/sim game would be fantastic, I mean Outpost Kaloki X was a great little sim - we need more of that genre though!!!!!

MORE THEME/SIM GAMES PLEASE...!

(except Theme Tower... that was a bit naff)

Bah, more shoot-em-ups. Classic arcade action right there. I'm still disappointed that the Raiden collection is going to be full price (or somewhere near that).

To be fair I don't mind new puzzle games at all, it's just the re-releasing of crap retro games that I don't have time for.

I never played it and will not juge the game itself, but im tired of seeing puzzle game all the time on XBLA, there was a time when you would have a good old classic beat em all sidescroll every 2 or 3 weeks...i haven't buy anything for months now.... Double Dragon 2, Contra 3, TMNT Turtles in times, BattleToad, Quake 3 Arena, Killer Instinc 2, thats the kind of game i want to see on the XBLA... But no , we used to have 2 games per week, now its 1 game and its a puzzle game...guess i will save some cash...

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
