Help Some Fellow Gamers.... Written Sunday, January 27, 2008 by Geoff White A fellow member is asking for your help. It turns out that gamers in Romania are unable to connect to Xbox Live. This seems a tad harsh to me, as that is one of the major perks of owning a 360. There are more than 20,000 360 owners in Romania- surely that should be enough for Microsoft to warrant the set-up costs? Well, after the success of the last x360a petition, we would like to throw our weight behind this poll. Etc from the forums has started this thread, and would like as many signatures as possible on this petition. I think it's only right we help a fellow gamer, so please make sure you spent the 10 seconds it takes to sign it. Again, the link is here. Brazil, Greece and South Africa are a few of them. At least now Microsoft knows Romania wants it too and hopefully something good comes out of this. I mean if tiny countries like Ireland and Singapore can get Live service then why not Romania? Especially since their country has almost 3 times the population of both those other countries combined. And I'd be pissed if I lived in a place where MS didn't support live yet still paid the price for it. Think how much people complained when they couldnt use Live for like 3 days over Xmas, then think about if Live never worked.... And if enough people show an interest it can at least be taken to MS and ask their reasoning behind the decision, which will help all people in the same boat in the future. |

I don't think Microsoft would set up Live for Romania unless a lot more people started getting consoles and demanded Live access, not just random people from around the world saying other places should have access.
