For a reason I am starting to care more about this game than Skyrim. Back then I had an argument with someone about wether Skyrim>Halo CE A or not, but now Halo just topped Skyrim on my personal "Can't wait for this game"-hitlist.
Really can't wait for this game. |

I remember when I got the Xbox on launch day and basically played Halo from the moment I hooked it up. I didn't stop until 5 am the next morning, after finishing Halo.

I found CE campaign less lacklustre than the other campaigns. That being said, the way I experienced the Halo campaign follows:
1. Halo 3 (wtf is going on? Who cares...)
2. ODST (Who is this?)
3. Halo CE (Still don't get it)
4. Halo 2 (Oh...)
5. Reach (KK got it.) |

| My only complaint is that this game is coming out right in the middle of my exams (one on the 14th, one on the 16th). Stupid college. Still, being able to play this uninterrupted afterwords should cheer me up if I think I've failed. |

Yes halo combat evolved was why I got the xbox.
On topic though this game will be great and $39.99 isn't bad at all considering we will probably even get more than the regular $60 worth with this game. |

| Lol, I first played this frist when I was 6, now im 13 and still not at the legal age to play it XD, im buying it anyway. As far as im concerned this beat the shit out of the other halo's in terms of how fun the camapaign was. It had true replay value, it is also (tied with Half Life 2) the best game ever. |

Halo: CE actually is the reason my brother bought his Xbox. Meanwhile I was playing SSX: Tricky and Metroid: Prime on my GameCube and Final Fantasy X and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on my Playstation 2.
Great memories, and I can't wait to build new ones with this incarnation. Bring it! |

@27 I suggest reading the first 3 books:
Fall of Reach (best one, starts from very beginning of spartan program)
The Flood (explains the events of the first game better with extra stories)
First Strike (explains what happens between halo 1 and 2, which is a lot)
Actually i recommend the books to everyone. They are an awesome read and tell u more about everything in the halo universe. Also the other 3 books:
The Cole Protocol
Ghosts of Onyx
Contact Harvest
No real order to these they are seperate stories that have minor ties to the first 3 books. |

Nah, the reason I bought an xbox was that a Bioware game wasn't being initially released on PC (in fact thats also the reason I bought a 360, first KOTOR & then Mass Effect). I'd not even heard of this halo thing I got with it but gave it a shot since my only other games were sega gt 2002 & that godawful jet set radio future crap. My first impression of Halo was "Oh an FPS... with a gamepad... ugh" but then imagine how fucking amazed I was when it was the first ever console FPS to actually get the controls RIGHT. They're still better on PC but Halo was the game that made me a console FPS supporter |

| Wow how I've missed this game, first time i played this is when i was 5, and i even remember buying the first x-box+halo with my uncle at k-mart :D. When he first launched Halo i was glued to the screen and for the rest of my life i would be in love with halo. First beat the game on legendary when i was 8. Playing Halo CE atm on my uncles old xbox that he gave to me, Halo is still the best fps out! |
