#4, good point. #6, back in the day there wasnt much for FPS to play with but as soon as cod/halo/moh/battlefield came out that was it, anything they tried failed. Only logical they try to make a game like them. |

Call of Duty: Goldeneye 1.5 Haha I'm looking forward to it though. Still doesn't beat the original but it seems entertaining like Quantum of Solace. I loved that game. Way better than Blood Stone in my opinion. |

To everyone saying it's like CoD, just shut up. From what I have seen, the only thing they have in common (down to the roots) is that they are both shooters. Quantum of Solace sucked, mainly because it was a Treyarch game, and Blood Stone sucks because it's hard to boost. This, however, looks much better, aside from current gen graphics. Plus, Goldeneye is my favorite James Bond film/game. |

See, I knew this would happen. Never fuck with an original! The N64 one, for all who played it I am 100% certain they will agree with me here, it should have been a graphically better version of that. No story/plot changes. Otherwise, its not Goldeneye! I will probably pick this up at some point, maybe 2nd hand, but I am pretty sure it will have me running back to my N64 version. Damn Activision.... |

@23 Really? Would you really want to play some story talking about the Cold War? It's an updated story, set in today's world. I played the original Goldeneye, and I actually 100% DISagree with you. No, it should not have been just a 'graphically better' version of that. Why the shit would you want to play the exact same 14 year old game with better graphics? They updated it, they made it look better, they updated the plot to make more sense in today's world....they just made it better. Goldeneye on the N64 does NOT hold up. It was all we had to play at the time but you go back to it now and realize that the controller is shit, the game actually suffers from major slowdown in multiplayer and looks incredibly ugly. The mutliplayer is nowhere near as fun as it was (or seemed to be?) back then. @21 Funny how you can say a game sucks when you've never played it. Unless you've played the Wii version of this. Of course then again, this is the updated version, so you don't know anything about it, so you sound stupid by saying it sucks. @6 If you think about it today, a lot of the older Bond games like Agent Under Fire or even Goldeneye itself were just "generic shooters". Hell I think the only difference between say Goldeneye and DOOM were the fact Goldeneye had human enemies and it had objectives to complete instead of just "get to the end of the level". If you showed someone a screen shot of Goldeneye that hadn't seen it before they would say it looks like any other shooting game released at that time. @1 Severnaya isn't memorable? You only visited it twice during the original game. And technically Bond never goes to Severnaya in the movie, period. This is a much better take on it. Heading to the facility amidst the chaos of the EMP blast instead of just running out the door of the facility once Ourumov sets it off. Trevelyan is still the bad guy, although his motives have changed (the whole cold war angle is out of date). I think Xenia is still in the game as well, but remember like Bond himself they've all been updated to new actors. |

| Whats funny is is that theres stupid people who havent played this praising this game already. from the video you can tell theres nothing to see here, Move On, this game is gonna be so generic, like every other bond game since Rare showed us what a real bond game should be like. All of theyr magic is nowhere to be found in this game, just compare videos of this and goldeneye n64. N64 version is much better. But these new kids on the block dont know anything about good games these days anymore. |

Wow this is terrible, utterly terrible. They could have at least got someone that sounds enthusiastic about the game they're developing.. 'White threat markers, indicate enemies that are alerted to your presence.. red markers indicate that you are taking damage, and the direction that it is coming from' LMFAO even the commentator ran out of things to say when he found gaps in his script. He was talking like DAMAGE INDICATORS are something new and original! Laughable! Anyone that even considers purchasing this after seeing this video is just deluded, especially with MW3 out a week later. Awful AI, awful sound, lack of recoil and not-so-spectacular graphics. £20 after 1 month. I predict - FLOP like Brink, Homefront and X-men, as well as the closure of Eurocom as a studio. |

| Anyone who says "I'd rather go back and play the original" obviously hasn't done so recently. Have fun moving your character with ONE analog stick and the "C" buttons. We have gotten spoiled with the current generation's great control schemes and dual analog sticks. Nostalgia clouds the memory. I'm taking the high road and proclaiming my excitement for this game, both as a gamer, and as a Bond fan. |

@26 Actually, you're right. I never played the original Halo:CE and I see no point in going back and updating the graphics to just remake the same game and make it look like Halo: Reach. Shouldn't time and money be, ya know, put toward a new game? @28 I agree with you on the commentator not sounding that enthused. I don't like the commentary vids so much, should just be the gameplay. Far as the AI goes, unless they've changed it he must have been on one of the easier settings. Try playing this on 007 Classic when it comes out. It's just as hard but it gets rid of the regen health and you need to get armor, old school like. Sounds not that bad, graphics looks great to me, and....why do you care about recoil? You want to play a game with a built in mechanic that might have you miss? Trust me the game is hard enough without that. @27 Agent Under Fire, Everything or Nothing, Rogue Agent, generic? Those we all good bond games and in some cases much much better then Goldeneye. Matter of fact I remember having more fun with Goldeneye: Rogue Agent then I did with the original Goldeneye. Rare doesn't have the magic anymore. They haven't had it for like 10 years. And no, the N64 version isn't better. At all. Not by a long shot. That's either stupidity or blind fanboyism talking. And yes, I did play the original back in the day. I played it a few years later and it was nothing like I remembered it. I played the game that THIS version is based off of, the Wii "Goldeneye 007" and it's just as good if not better then the original. |

| Gotta love the fact that he stops off in the video to say that red arrows means your being shot and white arrows shows where they're coming from. The game may be a remake from over a decade ago, but if I may speak for us all, we've all played shooters before and thats a CAPTAIN OBVIOUS statement! Terrible release date as well! 3 weeks after Batman AC, 2 weeks after BF3, and 4 days before MW3. We must have magical pockets with never ending wallets to pay for all of this! |

its by Activision this game wont just suck it will be antifun and its a remake, of a fps, on the WII. None of that is good. This game is gonna suck just as much as it did on the wii. Im sure they wont be fixing the ridiculous ammount of glitches on and offline play eihter. Theyr just gonna ride on the name of the game for more money. |
