| I never played 2, so the reviews saying it's not as good as Dead Rising 2 don't really bother me, it's win win for me really. I'll be renting it though, as soon as LoveFilm get that shitty X-men game I sent back to them a day after it came. |

| This is hilarious. People, please don't get suckered into this. Capcom seems so desperate lately. Rehashing DR2, lame DLC like this, MvC3 SUPER ULTIMATE EDITION.... jesus |

Hate these "buyable" cheats. This kind of shit should be unlockable in the game (and I mean by fulfilling a certain task ingame and not buying a key ;-) ) |

| It seems like every comment I've made on this site in the past few weeks has been about this sort of thing. The Gears 3 DLC is more than likely all on disc, yet we're expected to pay an extra $35 for content we've already paid for. This is the new age of gaming, people. The sooner people stop buying this shit, the sooner it will end. Ot would help if the gaming media would shed light onto it instead of being neutral or acting like it doesn't happen |

@18 Just so you know man, when it comes to multiplayer related DLC, most of it is usually included in a patch released the same day, causing most DLC purchases to be only 108k in size. Why? Because people who don't purchase it will still need to be able to see the new character or weapon skins. I remember when the first pack came out for Bioshock 2 and people complained, but if they did a little thinking they would realize that the actual content was in the patch they downloaded so that all players could see the new effects, even if they themselves didn't have access to them. I'm not saying you're 100% wrong though, still think the preorder 'DLC' for Deus Ex was actually on the disc and all you downloaded was the 'key' to let the game send you on that mission. |

I guess one of the major problems in modern gaming is that release dates are not tied to development status. A releasedate is a random date when a publisher thinks it would be best to release a game. Every developer should pull out a Valve time if needed. Often people argue that it would be a economical need to do DLC and shit to be able to survive, yet companies like Valve, Blizzard or Nintendo prove that a company can still be profitable without pulling these kind of dick moves. That a company can still take their time in developing and that technical supperiority is on the long run less appreciated than an overall creative game. When we look back at the last years in the future I'm pretty sure games like Half Life2, Left4Dead, Portal, Super Mario Galaxy, Diablo2+3, Starcraft2, ... will be much more memorable and loved than the 10th reincarnation of a generic Space Marine/US Marine. |

@19 I don't doubt future content will be, but people are already playing on the new Horde maps and I've seen people playing as Burns or w/e the old lady with white dreads name is almost a day after the game came out. That content is on disc for sure. |

| It's pretty smart how capcom is giving DLC for DLC. They figured the consumers that bought this game were already suckers and they give more DLC, which they know they will buy because they bought the dlc that is deadrising 2 :OTR. In dead rising 3 you will probably have to purchase all useable items with microsoft points. |
