Having been delayed from its mid-September release date a few weeks back, Kalypso Media has now announced a new release date for Tropico 4, and you won't have too long to wait before heading to a Caribbean paradise to impose your very own brand of leadership on the island inhabitants as El Presidente.

Will you be a benevolent or tyrannical dictator in your quest to become an global superpower? You'll need to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, as you accumulate finances in your Swiss bank account, importing and exporting, dealing with the demands of your constituents and overcoming challenges including natural disasters and adverse weather conditions that'll affect the island.

Tropico 4 will now be coming to Xbox 360 on October 18th in North America and October 21st in Europe. Viva El Presidente and all that.
