It's no secret that id Software has the most prestigious FPS heritage around, having invented the genre in 1992 with Wolfenstein 3D. In Rage, you can pay homage to that great legacy with small (very, very small) playable levels from three of its games, which are extremely well-hidden, but just waiting to be discovered.

First up, there's a hidden secret segment from Wolfenstein 3D, which appears to be one of the easier Easter Eggs to locate, and you get a Wolf Goblet for your troubles. It's essentially a tiny room, but it's still very cool. You'll find it in the Ghost Hideout.

Then there's the Doom level, which is tucked away in the Gearhead vault, where you'll have to do some weird trickery with some computer keyboards to unlock a door near the entrance. Once inside, you can collect a Doom marine bobblehead, which the eagle-eyed among you will have spotted on Dan Hagar's dashboard during the game's opening.

And finally, heading into the Wasted hideout, you'll be able to find a hidden Quake level, where you'll be able to pick up a Shambler plush while you're there. Weird. Videos on how to access the secret Easter Eggs can be found below, with the good stuff tucked away at the end of each. Take a look.
