The art style and design of the environment in Gears is pretty unique. I'm not a comic book guy, nor a Gears fan, but I'm sure for those out there that enjoy either will no doubt be looking forward to see what DC makes out of this. |

Hopefully this turns out to be released better than the Halo comics which were suppose to be finished up shortly after Halo 3 was released.

The Comic book idea really sounds cool. I look forward to it. But if they had to bridge the gap between Gears 1 and Gears 2, why don't they make an animated movie using Unreal Engine or Gears Editor and release it on DVD. It won't be a big deal for Epic. Sure casting Voice-overs and stuff can be time-consuming but look at what other companies are doing (FF:Advent Children, CGI Resident Evil movie, Rumoured EA movies). Not trying to tick people off here, I think the comics will cool but an anime using Unreal engine would be lot cooler. |

Reaping: They would not make a movie because it would take FOREVER... Epic is focused on the Unreal engine, GoW2, Unreal Tournament franchise, and others. Their faculty is so small in comparison to most companies that it would have to be done by other company. Comic book sounds awesome though. |
