Co-op was a hell of a lot of fun but people with pvp twinks ruined the online experience. |

| This, Saints Row 3 and Skyrim. Took the other bunch of games off, gunna use that money for a PVR, and a life size Zangetsu. (Sword from Bleach, and yes it is a real sword) |

| My boner was killed by from what my understanding is a like a part-chat. Apparently the game kicks you to the main menu when you enter a party-chat session. |

@11 Does it really matter? It's not like you have to talk to people whilst playing it. Damn, back in the retro days to talk to a friend whilst playing a game you'd have to phone them anyway, just enjoy the game instead.
On topic, this game will probably end up being my GOTY, with games like Uncharted 3, Skyrim and Gears 3 falling behind it, mainly because I'll spend more time and more rage on this alone anyway.
Plus holy crap, it looks fantastic graphically, MASSIVE step up from Demons Souls. |

It does matter. I enjoy talking to my friends while I play my singleplayer games. The only time I opt out is when one is heavily story driven. I hate people who use the "oh, we didn't have party chat and blah blah blah". Okay, we didn't have smartphones 8 years ago but I guarantee if you went back to a flip phone you wouldn't be happy. |

@17 I agree a few of my friend are buying this it would be nice to be in a party with them and trade hints and tips and laugh how we just died then rant at the developers or something :/ must admit kind of put me of aswell if the games going to take as long as they say it will all that time alone with nothing but my rage

| I am torn. I am looking forward to this, but the "always online" aspect of it worries me very much. Invasions sounds like a pain, although it will depend on the personalities of the people who buy this. I guess you can just play it offline, but... damn, I just don't know what to think of it! It makes me mad to think of working so hard on a game like this, and then have a nasty kid burst in and kill me just like that. |

| Party chat would ruin this game, it's sense of foreboding loneliness would be lost and you'd miss a big part of the atmosphere. Unless you played demons souls you would have no way of knowing that, but trust me, nonparty chat enhances this particular experience |

I played and beat Demon's Souls. Also, it doesn't matter. I shouldn't be forced to play the game one kind of way like that. It's different if it was an in game option, but it tampers with the outer input of the game. I want to sit with my friends and discuss what's going on while we're playing. I can still enjoy atmosphere with a party by me. By the way, you're making it seem way deeper than it actually is. "sense of foreboding loneliness", I mean, sure it's a pretty desolate game, but I can still comprehend that and enjoy that while discussing things with my bros.
