Alone in the Dark - Limited Edition Details

Alone in the Dark - Limited Edition Details
Written Tuesday, April 15, 2008 by Geoff White

GAME.co.uk have put up an Exclusive Limited Edition pre-order for Alone in The Dark, located here. I haven't been able to find any online retailers offering this package in the USA as of yet, but I can't see them releasing this in the UK and not Stateside. If anyone finds somewhere, let me know and I will update this.

The 'next-gen' consoles have seen an increase in the number of limited/collector editions being released, some with great success and others have been found to be lacking. Luckily, the AitD one seems to be one which may well be worth upgrading for.

As well as the game disk, the pack also includes:

  • 15cm Alone in the Dark Edward Carnby Figurine
  • Alone in the Dark Artbook
  • Bonus 'Making Of Alone in the Dark' DVD
  • Alone in the Dark CD Audio Soundtrack

looks like they have made an effort to include lots of stuff and at 55 pounds, is quite a good deal.
however im still unsure if this is going to be the great game i want to be, so buying a special edition is risky.

with all these awesome SEs coming out, i'm going to have a dedicate much shelf and storage space to these unorthodox shaped and sized packages. this rules.

Can not wait for this to come out. The cover of the game, the way it folds out, looks sick!!!

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
