| "If you have already downloaded the Classic Zombies Pack that came with the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty®: Black Ops, fire up the game and go to the Zombies menu. Select either SPLITSCREEN or XBOX LIVE and make sure you are using the XBOX live profile that you used to redeem the maps. There will be a new menu option that reads "FREE ZOMBIES LEVEL." Select this option and you will be allowed to download Rezurrection for ZERO points starting on August 23rd. If you still have the code from the Hardened or Prestige Edition but have not redeemed the Classic Zombies Pack, you can use your code whenever you like, Rezurrection will still be free for you when it is available on August 23rd. " |

Ridiculous. Isn't this the 4th DLC for Black Ops all of which are priced at 1200MSP? Meaning it costs an extra 30 quid if not more to get them all?

| Awesome that this is free for those that got the hardened edition. At the time, I think it just said we'd get the older zombie maps, not a new one. Pretty cool to get Moon too. Not really into the zombie mode as much, but still cool. |

| I said Id never buy another game that keeps releasing Map Packs one after another after buying MW2. But my freind said I should give BO a try so I bought it used for $55. Then they bitched since I didnt have the map packs to play other maps so like a dumbass I bought those too another $45. So Ive spent $100 on a game I rarely play cause of people with mod controllers or the get pissed and disconnect with no penalty. IF this is what pre MW3 is looking like I WILL PASS for a brand that actually penalizes quiters and cheaters like HALO... |

You do realize that these "additions" were already figured into the budget of the game and is costing them nothing extra to create, don't you? How can you support such a money hungry franchise that gives nothing back to the public? They don't even make an effort to fix anything in the MP. @25 But Halo was actually one of the most important launches on consoles ever.And the Halo: CEA will also feature old maps for Reach, that can be played using the old style, or a completely rebuilt version of the map. And it comes with a new firefight map. So only $40 for the incredible Halo:CE single-player experience, 4-player live co-op, multiple engines and the ability to change the graphics between old and new, 7 maps from Halo 1 and 2, and a new firefight map? I find that a fine deal.
Also, if you want to play the old maps, why not go play WaW? Already have the maps for it and the hit detection isn't as much of a joke as BO. |

@ 42 - It has no PERSONAL MP but just like ODST, it will feature the current MP system (Reach) with extra maps and features/modes. So while it's not "it's own MP", it will still have MP capabilities.
And maybe b/c this will only be the 5th standard Halo game to get released since 2001. COD has released well over 10 games since 2003, 4 within the last 2-3 years alone! I think the time spent on effort here speaks volumes for each franchise. Just b/c it doesn't sit well with you and a select group (b/c face it, it's never been so bad that complainers/haters actually get the franchise to stop. Never happened. Never will. If someone is willing to pay for it, the company will make it. Supply and Demand.)

@42 Heres my belief. I want to play Halo Anniversary for the incredible campaign all in gorgeous HD. What? I get 7 new maps for Halo Reach only released one year ago? Fantastic! Why would anyone want to go back to a ten year old multiplayer? Look I enjoyed some original Halo multiplayer myself back in the day, but its time to move on mate. The campaign is different, because there you have a story that so many people want to experience again. But the multiplayer? Quit whining, Reach has a classic playlist, play that if you are so keen on staying so far in the past buddy. Why would Bungie want to separate its fans? Exactly, they don't. I can't wait to enjoy the maps on Reach when it launches.

First off, read through the comments, just as many, if not more are drooling over getting the Reach maps in Halo remake.
Figured into the budget? Does it even matter?? Secondly, I can just as easily say that about Reach, Dragon Age 2, Red Dead Redemption, or any game made this gen. Point being, if you dont have actual proof that Treyarch specifically is doing it, dont bring it up.
And finally, Gives nothing back to the community? Are you retarded? Every where on the internet is ads for the CoD XP event/tournament, with ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OF PROCEEDS GOING TO CHARITY.

Do consider that different opinions doesn't make anybody superior to another.I will shell the money for the map packs...eventually. I would like to get the Zombies map pack, but I suck and single player, and none of my friends have bought it yet. So as a fan of the somewhat decent games I think dropping $15 is worth it as long as I get the entertainment out of it I'm fine. But calling out how much Halo is better is unnecessary, as they are different subgenres.

Activision should just make a Zombies game. It would do well. There are plenty of people who play COD just for Zombies. Hell I used to love the COD single players but after COD4 it lost its large infantry battle feel, and became more a spec ops deal. Also anyone saying Halo CE did not have online is ignorant. It was not legit online but if you had a computer you could connect to other console online system link style. It rocked any other game out at the time.
