Excellent. I am usually busy on the weekends that get events like this, but with the next month basically being a continuous XP multiplier, maybe I can finally get the last 48 levels or whatever I need to grab my wings before Gears of War 3.
By the way, number 6 - you hardcore pro you - basically everyone who has even the faintest of interests in being level 100 in Gears 2 has done so already. If you don't think any "scrubs" are going to have golden gnashers, you're out of your mind. Besides, all thought all those lowly noobs were using sawed-offs? |

@ 10 - It doesn't matter if it's random matchmade or with friends. EXP is earned on Horde mode no matter what.
@ 9 - I gave up somewhere around level 50 something. A shiny gun in the next game doesn't interest me enough to rush to level 100. I will be sans golden gnasher and probably not even on the MP much. |

@ 12 - Just play Horde on Insane with a full team. You'll level up quickly once you get a good offense/defense going.
@ 13 - As long as you're playing either Horde or MP, yes, you'll earn the multiplier. Just as I said above, on Horde, the higher the difficulty, better the exp. |

I'm level 70ish, how many hours of horde will that take for level 100??
The only problem with these events is if you actually want a legit game of KOTH, cant be arsed to jump in and out of a ring for 5hrs like a pussy... boosters really ruin some games |

| @ 19 - Objective games (or at least their rules) are what killed the MP for me b/c people would just farm kills on them since there was NO countdown timer. We spent a about an hour and a half in ONE stupid game of Submission bc the other team just kept glitching out one of their players and getting BS kills. |

@ 27 - What color is the sky in your world? It was massively abused, full of glitches and as I mentioned, Objective matches turned into Kill Farming.

Hmm might have to dust off the ol' lancer & try to finish off some of those hoard cheevo's.
Adding XP gain to hoard was one of the best decisions Epic has made & I hope they do the same for 3 otherwise no XP for me. |

| Wow I have to say that you either don't play this at all at which point you won't care about it or you must suck really bad to not have wings by now. Having had my rank reset twice I was only playing in chose XP event and I still got my wings around April this year. All that with full time job during week, part time on weekends, and wife/dog/house juggling... I did it all on Wingman as it seems it give most point, as long as you place in top 3:-) |

| The standard multiplier is 2x Xp so you actually only get 2.5x the XP in the first weekend, then you get 5x, 7.5x, 10x, 12.5x the Xp in the next weeks |

| The xp is working right, I saw someone who posted that they only got 1000 per wave on hardcore, which is correct. This is because the game runs on a default x2 multiplier normally. My example will be that Horde on Casual used to be 100 points a wave, but if you play during the week sometime and do it, it is by default 200 points a wave. A wave right now should be worth 500 points on Casual, 750 on Normal, 1000 on Hardcore, and 1250 on Insane. |

| I don't know about you guys but when playing Horde it's mainly tickers/wretches with some other guys mixed in every few waves. The 8/9/10 waves always have maulers and what not. So this isn't all ticker hoard but still easier to get those hoard achievements. |

I understand all you guys want this 100 level and wings but to get it just doesnt make sense they messed up by putting in extremely tedious cheevos. the people that got it without this exp events are true achievement heros. all the rest useing countless xp events include insane 33x events is like boosting to get it. kinda like MW2 10th prestige could be a dedicated player might not be.
This being said anyone with it using the xp events is still insane to get it :)
I know bad MW2 metaphore, only one I could think of.

Stopped caring when my rank was reset from 71 to 0. Honestly, the fact that they never patched that made me quit the game nearly entirely. I only go on for private matches now, and those are rare.
Gears 3 is where my attention will be set to now. If there's a similar glitch in MP for that game, then it might be collecting some dust until it's fixed. |

@ 70 - 72. It's as standard X2 XP, So it's actually 2.5 X what you normally get during last weeks event and will be X5 this week, X7.5 week after, x10 week after that, X12.5 week after that.
On Level 87 so should think this is the perfect opportunity to play for some Hord ach's whilst the tickers make it easier and also levelling up at the same time. |

I currently need like 300 more rounds of Horde on Insane to get my wings. Interesting. Now if ONLY there was a quick and easy way to get that seriously 2.0 achievement.
Golden Gnasher? I'M IN! I love the gold decals on the guns. I actually still use my Golden Lancer. Yes, I know how much of a target it makes me. No, I don't use cover much or at all. I just chainsaw shotgun spammers and listen to their angry voices at match end.
5000 XP a match is quite a good incentive to get me to play Horde. 6250 would be even better. But I want ONE of these weekends to myself to do something -I- want to do. |

The 20xp is working. Btw horde is all 'big guys' and when I say big guys I mean: Grinders, Boomers, Maulers and Buchers. It's quite fun actually. :)

If anyone is up for boosting, there is a game going on right now on Social King of the Hill. One team in the circle, the other team stepping in and out every time. The team in the circle gets 200 points, the team stepping in and out gets 50 points. That's per second, per person.
No killing
