Rise of Nightmares Trailer Contains 'Scenes of a Violent Nature'

Those of you of a nervous disposition, shield your eyes now! It's about to get bloody, as SEGA has released a new trailer for Kinect horror title Rise of Nightmares, featuring yet more gore and dismemberment, this time to showcase the weapons on offer and the kind of damage they can cause.

As you'd expect, there's plenty of sharp pointy things and blades to wield, enabling you to sever limbs in fountains of viscera, unless you prefer to go in bare-fisted and punch the crap out of the armies of undead monstrosities you'll face. And there's a dog with a human head too.

The trailer is silly, tongue-in-cheek stuff, but no less shockingly blood-drenched for it. Check it out below, then prepare for gallons of gore when Rise of Nightmares is unleashed on September 6th in North America and September 9th in Europe.

I think the music was to show that all kinect games atm are kiddy and this is were this will change i guess. If this does well maybe they will do a house of the dead port to the xbox for controller and kinect :)

We have all had kinect moments, shall i buy or not. this is just another of those moments, but with child of eden and this, also kinect now available pre owned in uk for 70pound its maybe gettin more appealing.

Wasnt sure on this game but after this trailer its a definite buy. It looked funny as hell and quite a lot of blood. Just wondering bout the move controls. They may not work all that great from what ive heard bout how u use them.

i honestly hope this game has some replay factor because all kinect titles so far that I have played have been fun but I haven't wanted to play them on my own, maybe this can change it around?

Okay, I'm confused now. Is this going to be a comedy horror? Because that's EXACTLY the type of music I want to listen too when I'm kicking undead arse! :D

I the music and the trailer say it loud a clear fellas. Nightmares isn't going to take it's seriously and it just about getting up and using your Kinect to kill zombies. In a mindless and exaggerated (possibly) fashion. Besides its a Kinect, equals casual mixed with no depth.
