Ubisoft has today announced its lineup for Gamescom 2011 and it's one to file under "no s**t, Sherlock." Heading up the showing this year, and following on from a strong presence at E3 2011 is Assassin's Creed: Revelations, as you'd expect, while providing strong support are Driver: San Francisco, Rayman Origins, Far Cry 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. No, we don't know why From Dust is there either.

Those are the really big games we'll be keeping an eye out for, while Ubi's family lineup consisting of that Black Eyed Peas thing, Just Dance 3 and Rabbids: Alive and Kicking will also be at the big show in Germany later this month, from August 17th-21st.

“Each year, Gamescom gives us a unique opportunity to meet with customers and fans and get their feedback on our upcoming titles in advance of the holiday season,” said Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot. “Ubisoft’s lineup this year shows that we’re growing across a wide range of genres and that our development teams are continuing to deliver creative and entertaining games to consumers.”

Check out what Ubisoft's taking to Gamescom this year:

  • Assassin’s Creed: Revelations
  • Driver: San Francisco
  • Far Cry 3
  • From Dust
  • Rayman Origins
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier
  • The Black Eyed Peas Experience
  • Just Dance 3
  • Rabbids: Alive and Kicking

  • The Black Eyed Peas Experience? I thought that was just a joke? Fucking horrible.
  • Will Mr. Caffeine make an appearance?
  • Good to see more out of Future Soldier. Can't wait to play that.
  • For a second there I mistook Just Dance 3 to be Just Cause 3 and my heart leapt. But then I looked again :(
  • assassins creed all i care aboot
  • Mon the Creed!
  • ACR AND FC3 FTW !!
  • Nothing about 'I Am Alive'? Dang
  • am im the only one who think that Assassins Creed is becoming worst after each title??? i liked AC1, of course there was too much of the same but still great. AC2 had a good start and a good main protaginist but it was too easy and problems figuring out what it want to do. AC:B is just AC2 with easier gameplay and a multiplayer that takes fucking 10-20mins to find a match. and the looks of E3 gameplay this does not look like it is gonna be better.
  • why is from dust on there its already out
  • Ever since Mr. Caffeine, if I think anything UbiSoft, he's the first thing that comes to mind. Good marketing, but I feel like I can't take them seriously.
  • What about Splinter cell 6?
  • There's a typo...it should be Tom Calancy
  • Far Cry 3, can't wait for that. Getting bored of AC series they're milking it too much. They should have just made a trilogy like they originally planned instead of making AC2 into a trilogy itself. When ACB came along things in my opinion have gotten a little out of hand with all the multiplayer and commanding your own assassins.
  • @9 I totally agree with you ther, thers no major improvements in each title except slightly graphics increase, plus the story is getting really retarded I was disgusted with how pish ac2 ending was and if u played it you can tell that it was a Muslim who made that part of the game up, I would buy revelations only if I had to fight the so called ala and murder that scum (I know ala is made up but that would teach them)
  • Beyond Good and Evil 2? Aw crap. =[
  • Jesus, 2 Rayman games and the shittest pop group known to man.
  • No Prince of Persia or BG&E2, eh? Looks like two of my favorite Ubisoft game series are running dry...
  • Revelations is really the only thing I'm seeing of interest in that list. The Black Eye Peas Experience? Surely you jest? They're too busy playing at the opening of a refrigerator.
  • Awww no new rainbow 6..? I guess we will have to wait till future soldier is released so they don't downplay that game...
  • Future Soldier, LOL. It'll get pushed back to 2013
  • Why is From Dust going? It was already released. Really wish a new rainbow six would make an appearance.
  • I will be there. Looking foward to Assassin Creed Revelations.
  • So they said that a new Rainbow Six was very well alive a few months ago, but not only is it not appearing at GamesCom, they're showing 'The Black Eyed Peas Experience', instead? Well then.
  • @13 - NO!
  • Sucks there is no mention of the new Rainbow Six :( Future Soldier is the only game I'm looking forward to on the list!
  • I NEED a releasedate and a sweet looking trailer for a new Rainbow 6 game! Gimme, gimme, gimme! ...please?
  • Always good to see more Future Soldier. Had that shit reserved since June. 2010. Hoping for some Rainbow Six news, and I'd like to see more of Driver.
  • @25 YES! So says Mr. Caffeine
  • @22 It hasn't released on PC and PS3 yet. Looking forward to seeing more of FC3 and AC:R.
  • Damn, I was hoping for a possible announcement of the new Rainbow Six. Oh well, I am looking forward to the new Ghost Recon and Revelations.
  • Am I the only one excited about Rayman Origins on x360a?? Feels like it :L
  • Who's really surprised about The Black Eyed Peas Experience? I mean, given Ubi's track record, is anyone really shocked?
  • AC:R looks great.. Far Cry 3 looks pretty good too, gotta see some more to be convinced though!
  • Where is Rainbow Six? Seriously.
  • @9 I hate to break it you but Assassin's Creed 2 was and still is the best in the series. Brotherhood and Revelations are spin offs so IMO, they're are fine the way they are.
  • Well at least they got Black Eyed Peas..
  • @36 Im sorry to break this to you too but Brotherhood and Revelations are not spinoffs, a spinoff would imply a game telling the story from a different viewpoint/character, a side story or a different story altogether but set in the same universe. Brotherhood follows on DIRECTLY after AC2 with the same story and Revelations will follow on DIRECTLY from Brotherhood, hence there not a spinoff, they are part of the main series they are just not numbered.
  • 38 needs banned already, he's been spamming this crap on all the news articles.
  • #39 is right. Brotherhood and Revelations are not considered spinoffs. Ubisoft's way of doing sequels with Assassin's Creed seems to be strange, as they've said Assassin's Creed 3 will come, but they've also said Brotherhood and Revelations are to be considered main entries. Really, that's all in the naming conventions, though. If you just play the series, not taking any of the titles or numbers into consideration, I'm sure you couldn't go straight from Assassin's Creed II to III without being confused (you have to play Brotherhood and Revelations). That's my take, at least. IMO that makes them main installments.
  • Well I'm just super excited to see some "doodle-oo doodle-oo"s back in time and to see Tom CALAHNCEYS Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
  • That sucks. Plenty of good games (at least AC:R, FC3, and GR:FS for me), but nothing really new. I wanted some news on another Rainbow 6, I Am Alive, or (most importantly) Beyond Good and Evil 2.
  • no rocksmith, but there's the black eyed peas experiment? FUCK!
  • Black Eyed Peas Expiration? NO!
  • @13 FFAAAIIIILLL!
  • Still waiting for I am Alive Ubisoft. But if Assassins Creed keeps getting better I will forgive youl
  • Looking to see Far Cry 3, nothing else.
  • I too am getting bored of a rehashed AC game every year. At this rate it'll be the next CoD (sorry I brought up that game but it's what I compare yearly rehashes to)
  • So many games and I'm only interested in 3 of them, which actually makes me glad, way too many of them out there:-)
  • @15 Wow, what the fuck is wrong with you? Sort you're life out, you racist scum. I'm not Muslim but you're being pretty ignorant. OT: I heard people saying the AC series has been going downhill... you honestly think AC1 was better than AC2? LOL. ACB and ACR are yes, not doing much new but what do you expect from a yearly release? Oh yeah, and stop complaining about the yearly releases. When will those dumbasses get it in their heads this is NOT going to turn into CoD. I mean well done, you can link the whole multiplayer and yearly releases of the two series together, but that doesn't mean anything at all...
