@1 THat seems like it would be a good idea. I'm eventually gonna get this along with the Bioshock book, Deus Ex book, and maybe the Gears books. |

| I only hope that you don't find out what the cause of the infected is. Leave it as a mystery for once. But seeing as how it's set on an island, I have an unmistakeable urge it's Dr. Wily or some other mad scientist. |

| @6 I'm hoping the same, I can imagine a few good scenarios though when you find an ending which suggests that its only on the island, only for you to escape and land back on the mainland and find outbreaks there too. Good set up for some future additions if you ask me (May have to change the name though). |

| #7 Sort of like an opposite Dawn of the Dead remake ending? I wouldn't mind that though it would take away the 'unique-ness' of the game. |

@ 5 - Nerds get laid. Chicks dig my epididymis. OT - Might catch this before I sample the game. Not roping me in but I love a good zombie story. I have 4 ebooks of random stories and 2 anthology books as well as Max Brooks' coveted Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z |

| Reading a prequel book always make the actual game better. I read the homefront book and I enjoyed the game more. |

@5 And games aren't? ;) Hate when they release books on game launch, like Metro 2033, I'd love to have read this book BEFORE the game came out, having it serve as a proper build up to it. Now, I probably won't bother, as I won't see the point once I've bought the game. |

@5 I hate to break it to you SevenJesterHats, but if you play games, you are a nerd. Nerds were the first gamers and nerd are no longer the losers of this world. Nerds are those that create the new consoles. new computers new TV's and so much more. So rejoice nerds, for no longer are we the social pariah of this world, but instead we are the driving force of today's popular culture. Indeed, what Chris Hardwick says is true, "NERDS RULE THE WORLD!" Back on topic, I don't believe every game needs a companion book, but they do definately flesh out the stories of the game. I admit that I have no interest in Dead Island because every Zombie game out there feels the ame to me. I just don't find it fun to mindlessly kill zombies and it seems most of these games lack the drama of there television and movie counterparts. Give me a zombie game as dramatic as the Walking Dead or 28 Days Later and then I will play it. |

@ 10 - There's a huge noticeable difference between Nerd and Retard. You come off as the type that would get a result of 2 + 2 = Jello. How about you go count to potato and take a ride the escalator with your shoes untied. Please. |

| I have to agree that this should have been included in a special edition. That was the main reason I got the SE for New Vegas. That graphic novel was really cool. Still, not horribly expensive, so might pick it up anyway. Game looks really cool, but the lack of couch co-op is extremely disappointing. I'm hoping they will at least set it up for system link. |
