| @7 Not true. All you need is just a copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction, there's no code. It's kind of like how the Halo Reach demo was, just needed a copy of Halo: ODST to play the beta. |

I'm not a huge fan of Cliffy B but I totally agree with his thoughts on the current state of "betas" in the industry. If your "beta" comes out a month before the game is out, its not a "beta" its a multiplayer demo, sack up and call it what it is. Some game companies still know what the term beta means, like Naughty Dog and Epic (the two most recent examples) because unlike most other "betas" that come out, their betas were released WELL in advance of the ship date and were released to gather feedback from players to make adjustments the final release.
When a game like GRFS or MoH (or even BF3 coming up) releases a multiplayer demo a month before the game comes out and calls it a beta its kinda annoying. Very little comprehensive information and feedback can be gathered and implemented in 30 days (which, for most games means the game has already been shipped to manufacturer). I feel like games hide behind the term beta to deflect any criticism they may recieve, despite the fact that the "beta" that is being criticized is final code. |

| Beta should free to anyone with Splinter Cell Conviction on their gamercard considering how long it took them. Maybe it was just a ploy to have people keep their games, so new buyers would not be able to get it used. This also sounds like a demo, not a beta that will be used to improve the final game. Beta or not, I still want Future Soldier. The new videos make the game look a lot better than the original ones they showed. |

| I AM SOOO STOKED FOR THIS TO COME OUT!!Ghost Recon 2 & Summet Strike are my most memorable online competitive experiences for original Xbox, and Halo 2 and Rainbow Six 3 and Black Arrow are up with them also. but those games are what i only played online for original xbox thats really it man i played those 5 games for years n years AHHH I MISS THOSE ALL NIGHTERS!!, but then GRAW 1 n 2 plus Rainbow Six Vegas 1 n 2 are easily the most played online games for me on this gen, so you can see i am sooo happy for this to be released!!! This is just the most consistent franchise of releasing truly amazing, immersive, superb gameplay, awesome graphics, some of the most ammount of online game modes in a game (GRAW HAD OVER 70 ways to customize the game modes!!) truly skill needed games, addictive onoine, most complete package co-op, addictive and near percetc single players. ITS JUST THE MOST CONSITINTLEY AWESOME FRANCHISE CREATED, better than halo cause ODST and REACH just werents the same, and CALL OF DUTY 3 n MW2 sucked. so ya Ghost Recon is my SHIIIIIaT. im skipping Gears of War, CoD, n Battlefield 3 cause im just gonna play all the other aamzing games like Skyrim, Silent Hill Downpour, new Resident Evil, Deus Ex, Rage, new METRO, PREY 2, BIOSHOCK and more.... |

Coudn,t agree more except the fact i still going to play BF3 its def as good as the multiplayer in Ghost Recon. Other then that i,m not to fast about Gears Of War 3 its just the same graphics with some new gameplay add-ons so i skipp that to another time mabye. But yeah Ghost Recon Multiplayer looks sweet so far!! |
