| I could care less that I'm first, but getting to the point...This XBOX looks awesome and so does the remote and white kinect. All I'm interested to know is how much is it because the 250G Xbox and kinect bundle is 399.99 and this Xbox has 320G, not 250. All in all, as long as it's not substantially more $ than I might consider buying this, as I need a new Xbox. All in all, pretty freakin sweet! |

R2D2 console is pure win in my opinion.

| I'd like to see if those are indeed stickers or a custom case. Either way the white Kinect sensor does look much nicer to me. I do need a new Xbox but I don't think I'll wait until the holidays though. I wonder how the grip is on the controller. It looks really shiny and probably slippery. It does look a little out of place next to the stark white of the console too. |

Anyone remember when they announced the reach console and the power on sound was suppose to sound like the shield recharge? And then when you got it home it sounded sort of like the recharge from the first game.
The console looks neat but if someone wants it the would have to get rid of their old console and their kinect senor just to get a new one.
But, if you want to piss your money away, go for it. |

| If I were buying a Xbox 360 right now I would wait for the GOW3 one. That should be the last Xbox 360 to be released. I'm a HUGE Star Wars nerd, but this just doesn't look good. Microsoft just revealed a new R2D2-styled Xbox 360 Kinect bundle at Comic-Con, in honor of Star Wars Kinect. The Xbox has a special R2D2 look and custom console sounds, and is bundled with a gold, C3P0-style controller (Oh, my!) and an all-white Kinect. It also includes Star Wars Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and a 320GB hard drive!
The bundle will be out this fall. Pre-orders for the $449 bundle are expected to begin today.

The original 360 was white and you all complained at how dull and crap it looked next to your T.V's so they brought out a sleek looking black one which sold like hot cakes and now you want this.

Guess sound effects is the new big thing for custom consoles now -- not saying it's bad, just wouldn't be my first guess. This looks pretty awesome, though I think I'll stick to the GoW one, just because I already have a kinect, and I don't like the white console much, part of the reason I'm getting rid of mine. I like the control, and I'll probably end up getting the game by itself too.
@92 I wouldn't count on Battlefront 3, people have been wanting it for a while, with little to no information on it. |

| I promised never to buy another 360 after my second died on me, and while this does have me considering going back on my word (Star Wars is my favourite movie of all time), I can't imagine myself dropping more than $200 on this gimmick. I don't need Kinect, I don't need the Kinect games, I don't need a 320GB hard drive (I did just fine with my 60GB). I'd consider it if I could buy just the console (and MAYBE the controller) for at least 50% off the original price, but I otherwise can't see this in my future at all. |

Yeah agree the C-3P0 gold controller and r2-d2 360 looks great but the boring white looking kinect looks dull as hell, maybe it has the star wars logo on the top or something. Custom sounds ? would of been awesome if when the kinect does its tilting it made the r2-d2 styled bleeps.
And agree the phantom menace pod-race was without a question the best moment in that entire mess of a movie, love the two alien sports commentaters 'I don't care what planet your from, that's gotta hurt'.
I'm curious to see how the game turns out, like I am with the news they're featuring unique kinect features in Halo CE:A and MAss Effect 3. It's only taken them 12 months to use the damned hardware on interesting games. |

| Just my luck, as soon as I finally buy a new console with a 250 GB HDD they start making consoles with a 320 GB HDD. Anyway back on topic, I think the white camera is pretty slick and the controller isn't too bad but the purple against the white makes the console look weird. Also I think it's a little funny that they're still bundling it with Kinect Adventures since it comes with the Star Wars game |

| Seriously, can't people check the negativity at the door? That's what's wrong with kids today, they were never taught "If you don't have anything NICE to say, DON'T say anything at all". The console looks great and I'm looking forward to HEARING R2 when I power on my console. I knew there was a reason I've waited so long to get a Kinect, and it just presented itself. The gold controller takes me back to the days when I was the only one who had the gold controller for N64 :) Microsoft, this is the right thing to do. Pre-order here I come. It's funny how Mr. Lucas keeps finding ways to take my money. Really, George, just call me and I'll give you access to my bank account so you can bill me personally :P |

| this is absolutely amazing lol. i don't usually care too much about these special edition consoles...i buy a new console if mine is dead and that's about it usually. but this is just awesome. my girlfriend and i love star wars and as soon as i showed her this she told me we're buying one lol. and then we heard the sound of it turning on and the disc tray opening, freaking awesome lol |

| I don't mind the Pod Race but it's drawn out in my opinion. The best scenes in Phantom Menace involve lightsabers. Qui Gon Jinn/Darth Maul quick skirmish in the desert and Qui Gon & Obi-Wan/Darth Maul climax battle. When they walk up and Maul busts out his dual saber and Duel of the Fates kicks on. Priceless. |

I will probably buy this, as I've been waiting for a new 360 console themed in one of the genre that I like (Star Wars & Halo). I didn't care for the silver Halo Reach console, but this white console will look GREAT next to my HD-DVD add-on drive for the Xbox 360!
Of course... if they come out with a clear green Xbox 360 console for the Halo CE Anniversary (with 320 GB HD, matching controller, and a copy of the game)... I'll get that instead (it'll look great on the shelf above my Halo Special Edition Original Xbox)!!!

P.S. If you people like the console, but not the Kinect stuff... just sell the parts you don't want. Stop griping about it! Just don't expect to sell the console later on, without all the accessories, and get a good price. |

| i like the idea of custom sounds i assume it will be R2's beebs when you switch on/off. its a pity that you are unable to download custom sounds for your xbox including when friends notifications pop up ect, be cool having gears, fable, halo ect custom sounds. Also bigger HDD im hoping they release a 500GB seperate sometime in the future with the amount of games i install and DLC/movies ect that i download would be handy. |

As a huge Star Wars fan, I am extremely tempted by this, but it is a hell of a lot of money.
"Kinect Star Wars will also feature a Podracing Mode, revealed at Comic-Con" it was in the trailer from E3, so not exactly revealed at Comic-Con. |

I saw this at the San Diego Comicon and it looks great. I even asked one of the guys at the Star Wars Kinect booth about the design of the console and controller. The R2D2 design are NOT decals, stickers or painted on, they're part of the actual case. It's not purple and white, it's R2D2 themed, so it's blue and white and looks pretty cool.
The normally green power light will now be blue and the added R2D2 sounds make it even better. The gold controller has designs you can't see in the picture. Where you would plug in your headset, it looks to have exposed wire just like C3PO. I was told they may make that gray section more "rubbery" like you're touching C3PO's internals (no dirty joke intended). I asked if they might make the normal green light on the controller yellow to match C3PO and, unfortunately, he didn't know if they would.
Even if you already own a Kinect, you can always sell the white one in this bundle, and you can get your $150 back.
While I admit, a Darth Vader themed console would be spectacular, R2D2 works, too. Personally, I'm stoked and already preordered it. |
