| I agree with #2. I don't see why they can't make the whole thing co-op, seriously can't be that big of a deal. I will still be purchasing this game, although it doesn't appeal to me as much anymore. |

| #3 and #2 For the same reason with Fallout,Rage is a game an open enviroment and a great storyline. If they added co-op in the game(except the co-op missions) the whole storyline would be destroyed and the game would get boring.I am actualy surprised they added the Co-op missions feature but lot's of people prefer co-op than a game with a good storyline and unique features... |

I like the fact that they put in a full single player campaign with no option of co op. Anyone complaining that they didn't put in a co op campaign most likely have no skills and are useless in single player games. That's my opinion, and we all know the saying on that, so don't go jumping at my post. I hadn't found this game appealing at all through any of the diaries, any of the previews, watching gameplay trailers, watching the game on the big screen at gamestop, reading reviews or anything. Then I found this, and it was instantly appealing. Single player is the way to go, now the question is how long will that single player campaign be?

@7 Why the fuck do people like assuming things. They have not said anything about a few short co-op missions. They have said missions from the campaign will be taken and tweaked basically to suit co-op, and seeing as it is a huge open game with lots of missions there will also likely be a good amount of co-op missions. And stop assuming things about there length.
OT: I am still a bit eh'ish about this game's gun play (looks good but not great) but those characters and missions look really awesome, I just love great SP games there isn't enough of them. |

@9 - In an early interview with ID they said the games single player story would be at least 15-20hrs
Really looking forward to this game, Co-op and death races really is the icing on a fucking tasty ass cake!

Co-op rarely can kill a story. It can enhance the game play to play it with friends. The only crappy co-op game I can think of was Too Human.
Why anyone would suddenly decide to NOT buy a game simply because it has a co-op mode...well that's pretty ridiculous.
Here's a hint, play it solo. I prefer single player campaigns myself versus the TDM MP sort of thing, but co-op campaigns are always a ton of fun. |

They have said from the beginning that it would be a single player game, and that only the vehicle combat would have a MP mode,as well as stating that the only Co-op would be missions related to the storyline, but not directly pulled from the campaign.
Give iD some credit for god sake they frickin invented the FPS, and now because it doesn't have certain modes people are all pissed off. If they included full co-op and MP then people would be complaining about how the story is going to suck because there focusing on MP. Can't make everybody happy... I for one and very excited about this game.
And they have commented on the Borderlands comparison as well, this game has been in the works since long before Borderlands came out. |

| Had the gamereserved for awhile now. Interested Yosef if the MP will be robust, because honestly I'd love a good vehicle combat game. Obviously I'm getting it for the singleplayer though, which is looking like fantastic fun. This an Dark Souls on the same day! Win-win! |

| Would have liked to see co-op, particularly couch co-op, through the whole game. I really enjoy getting to play through games with my wife. Still, this looks like it will be a fantastic game. The appearance and setting draw comparisons to Borderlands, but what I've seen of the gameplay sets it apart considerably, unless you're one of those idiots that thinks any game involving guns is a CoD ripoff. Anyway, I can't imagine a game made by Id and Bethesda being crap. As someone else pointed out, Id started the whole FPS thing in the first place, and lets face it, Bethesda's vision of a post-apocalyptic world is awesome. Looking forward to this one. |

I'm really tired of two things people comparing RAGE to Borderlands,
that game isn't groundbreaking that game is just a cell shaded FPS
with a skill tree added into it with repetitive game play & no challenge
Also Bethesda didn't create Fallout or it's unique world they just turned Fallout into an FPS & put there amazing powers into it.
I for one am looking forward to RAGE I have never played an ID game that wasn't amazing, plus Bethesda is publishing it and I also have never
played a bad game that they have trusted there good name with.
Despite what people say about BRINK, most people say it's bad because
"so called" game critics didn't like it. |

| Will people stop comparing this game to Borderlands and Fallout because it is a post apocalyptic shooter. It's like comparing Halo and Crysis because it's a sci-fi shooter with aliens who want to attack earth and they both have cool armour yet I heard no one comparing them two games. |
