Transformers: Dark of the Moon

This week the unthinkable has happened, with a stinky movie tie-in making it to the number one spot, knocking the infinitely superior DiRT 3 into second place, while paving the way for Call of Duty: Black Ops to return to the upper regions of the charts, shooting its way into third position.

Big winners this week include Dungeon Siege III, which leaps seven places, Mortal Kombat which gains eleven and Op Flash: Red River, which returns to the top 20 with a gain of nine spots. Losers meanwhile, include Duke Nukem Forever, which looks to be on its way out of the top 20, Virtua Tennis 4, which sinks into 26th after being 9th last week and shockingly, Portal 2, which also slips nine spots out of the top 20.

	Loving the thread title lol. It's not all bad I heard Transformers is an easy 1k. Also remember if the game doesn't sell well they may make less kids games which is bad for us achievement hunters.

	Oh no Captain America isn't there (this game released last friday). I guess Sega will not happy cos selling not good for this game anyway I am glad DiRT 3 stuck top 5 though. :D

	Cpt. America, i had no idea it was released, always thought it was the week of the films release. OT: Transformers, bad or good, mo doubt has been helped by GAME, considering it was £22 in their 'sale' this week, I was even close to picking it up, despite knowing how awful it is.

	well 60 people here have transformers and another 65 want it. plus the users of this site seem to think its a decent game.(79% user rating) anyways go mortal kombat. at least the UK is having fun with it :(

	I helped getting transformers to number 1 because of the deal at GAME. Can't say if it's any good yet because it's been a week and I still havent received it! Looks like lots of games made a big leap due to price drops; MK and DS III were both around 20 quid at GAME too. And it can only be the fact you can pick brink up for about £12 that it is still in the chart; really bad game IMO

	I recently bought Transformers: DOTM for £22 on GAME, which I think is probably about the right price for it due to its short campaign, dumbed down multiplayer, lack of co-op and escalation modes. Admittedly its clearly not as good as the fantastic War for Cybertron but its still a fun game and nowhere near as bad as some people are suggesting IMO. Plus its an easy 1k, which is always nice. :)

	Portal 2 isn't really a shock. It is a great game however no competitive and addictive MP to keep people coming back and not that much re playability over all. I am sure it will boost right back up once valve finally release some DLC for it.

	Shame Captain America isnt on here. Its a pretty decent game and I really enjoyed it. Disappointed that Fear isnt further up too.

	I'm pretty sure that a movie tie-in game reaching No.1 was one of the signs of the arrival of the anti-christ or armageddon, I mean, seriuously, how the f*ck did that happen, is the movie like, REALLY good? because I'm struggling here to see how this happened

	This Transformers game is nowhere near as bad as the other movie tie ins. It's quite similar to War For Cybertron, but it's not as good.

	I don't really regret buying Dark of the Moon that much. The multiplayer downright sucks compared to WFC but the campaign was pretty enjoyable.

	I still dont have my copy of Black ops and I never will. But I would buy it over the transformers game, if that means anything. I was busy with the DoTW the past couple weeks so it could be my fault it is in first place. Also, where is Crysis 2?
