I bought it kinda late. It was my first Final Fantasy game I've ever played. And it was ok. Though very repetitive fight at the beginning. |

| Square Enix needs to reconnect with gamers. They've lost their way. From the interviews I've read, they're coming back with XIII-2 to try to get some emergency capital together. Hopefully, Deus Ex will be a return to form for them. |

Well, I loved Final Fantasy XIII and I've played many titles of the series. But I will also love the more free gameplay they are promising for FFXIII-2. ;) |

they have to release just 1 old FF for xbla to get 360 gamers exited for the next ff. Or just remake 7,8 and 9 in hd and put it on a disc. i would gladly buy that |

| A good game with maybe a good sequel. As long as the XIII-2 has a more serious story than FFX-2 I'll be happy. |

#6 Are you mad???? The worst FF Game of all time is FF X-2. That game was a disgrace to the series, horrible story and game play, they mess up trying to cash in the success of FF X. Worst 50$ i spent. |

| I have always been in love with the Final Fantasy series, but XIII didn't work for me, 4,6,7,8,9,10 & 12 were all great games... I just don't understand why as their technological capabilities become greater their games actually become smaller. One thing I've very much disliked about the past few installments is the lack of an overworld map, no exploration... very linear maps.... Also in thirteen the gameplay was very repetetive, and I absolutely HATED that I couldn't choose my party for most of the game..... In Final Fantasy VI you have 14 playable characters... what happened to that? Either way I have lost a bit of my love for the series as of late. |

@2 Deus ex isn't being made by square enix The only thing they should carry over to XIII-2 is the combat system, if they do that then it's a day one buy for me |

Sorry for the double post, but with the recent surge in remakes I would love a full on adaption of VI, VII, VIII for a next gen console. I know I'm not the only one but those games remade with HD graphics, newly remastered musical scores, voice acting talent, that would be more than my poor little heart could handle! Ha ha!! I truly enjoyed the DS remake of IV but I would like a big screen adaption of these classic games, Square should know people would buy them! |

I enjoyed Final Fantasy 1 - 5. Final Fantasy 6 was a "wow" game for me. Final Fantasy 7 - 10 were just epic. Everything after has just been disappointing .. Maybe it's just me, stuck in my old ways but I really dont like the active battle systems. To me, Lost Odyssey would have made a better Final Fantasy 13 than Final Fantasy 13. It also wasnt the same without Nobuos music .. but thats just me. |

| It may have sold an enough copies, but it has certainly made me apprehensive toward the franchise and any JRPG for that matter. I must have spent 40 hours alone grinding for enough XP and Gil for ultimate weapons, so I could get every achievemtent for the optional side-quest missions. Only to be stonewalled by enemies that simpley felt impossible to beat. I just should have just quit after I finished the main game, but I really wanted every achievement. I know it's not the games fault that I did not have the skill to beat all the side-quest missions, but that still does not change the fact it makes me sick on how much hours I wasted grinding in this game. This game was hands down for me, not only the most disappointing game I haver played, but also the biggest waste of my time. The 5 hours of fun don't make up for the 134 hours of grinding. |

This was not as bad as a lot of people say but it did have some flaws; and the achievements SUCKED (I am talking about you "Treasure Hunter"). At first I wasn't interested in the new battle system - I just trying hacking and slashing everything. However, the active battle system was awesome once you stop resisting using it. Pre-setting the paradigms and remembering where you assigned them took some time but was worth it once you did. The problem was that the story, which wasn't bad, was SEVERELY DISJOINTED. Why? I HATED not having my whole party together for most of the game. HATED IT. Grinding is a part of any true old-school RPG so that didn't bother me. My advice: Don't sell the elemental bracelets/charms, lol. |

| I loved FF7 when it first came out, but played it again a few years ago and was incredibly bored with the combat. I think if Square simply remade it with updated graphics it wouldn't be as good as people remembered - RPG games have evolved a lot in the past 15 years. I really liked the combat in FF13 and I think FF13-2 could be quite good with a few adjustments. |

@ 12, entirely correct. Plus you have a very handsome gamerpic! I really enjoyed XIII, though I expect this sequel will be poor. However, nothing can be as gash as FFX-2. What an epic disappointment it was. Anyway, FF13-2 is somewhat irritating as if I understand correctly, Vanille and Fang won't be in it. I liked Lightning but I don't think she was enough of a character to pull off her own game. New characters will have to be pretty good. Anyway, I'll probably buy this game. I loved FF13 and spent the 125hours to get the 1000G on it. Worth it. |

Well, I thought it was an excellent game, up there with the best in the franchise and easily had the best battle system out of them all. Strange how opinion is so far split with it. |

#33 Right back at ya. I enjoyed FF XIII, but the character development was lacking, u dint feel a real attachment to the characters, or found their story believable. Regardless, i enjoyed the new battle system and the game, it wasn't bad. I just hope this time around, they improve on what was FF XIII. |

| Won't be getting this...Got the 1000 on XIII and that will be it...Struggled hard to get into it and just never really could, grinded out to finish the 1000 and was happy it was done...Tactics and 6-9 were great games but after I just haven't really gotten into..Just repetitive and boring to me now..A lot of games are becoming that way. |

@40 FF12 was one of the best games in the series. FF13 is good but it's nowhere near one of the best. And 11 & 14 don't count as they are MMOs. But no, not every game after X-2 has sucked. You just sucked at playing them. :P |
