I feel way more more postive about the game then when i saw the first trailer reveal aggeess ago BUT:
I WANT MY ORIGINAL DANTE!!
Thumbs me down if you want but for me it's like taking Homer Simpson and making him skinny and smart = it ain't gonna work

| I am really looking forward to this. My guess is, when he does that special move his hair turns white, right? Around halfway through he learns how to do that permanently. Anyway still, what he looks like isn't going to stop me buying a plainly great series of game. |

| Definately doesn't look as bad as the first reveal. Will be checking it out at least. We all know Dante should be a badass who saves the girl, not an emo. A HD remake of the original would go down exremely well too. |

@3 i agree with yiu it doesn't work. They shouldn'tve changed dante from the crazy awesome badass he is. Is like replacing that big old bad ass master chief with a weaj whiny bitch for aj example who keeps crying because all the Spartans died. It doesnt work if they were going to do a proper revamp they shoulda stayed true to the game and story.
@6 I agree to tht to, the music combined with the style of gameplay over the top action and just the style of the original dante that punk rock heavy metal style of music was what accompanied him for that reason I mean look at him in DmC3 we loved that Dante because he was a total outrageous badass.
And one more thing. The weapons this emo dante uses are gay they aren't even as cool looking or outrageous and awesome as the real Dante's is so is everyone as mad about that as me too? |

They changed the (formerly beloved) character but kept the (overused) gameplay? Great, now they'll just need some stupid music and mediocre grafics to completely ruin it ... oh, they've got that too? Congratz -.-

The Graphics are complete utter shit for a Devil May Cry game and the new Dante looks absolutely horrible everytime I see him. I don't have high hopes for this game. DMC 4 looks much better than this and it was a 2007 game.
This is one of those games that didn't need a reboot but some asshole decided to do it anyway to piss off every fan of the franchise. |

Don't get all the hate, wow yeah they changed Dante's looks but if you were a fan of the DMC series you wouldn't let it bother you that much.
Either way, I enjoyed all the other DMC games so I'm looking forward to this, regardless of the new Dante. |

I liked the effect where the buildings popped out.
Otherwise it seems pretty lackluster, samey enemies not to mention replacing a great main character with a mediocre one. |

I am probably going to get a lot of dislikes for this but I am looking forward to this game. This does look like a nice (if unnecessary) reboot. Dante looks young and the character traits are there. Lonely teenager with special powers walks alone to fight demons in a world that is a lie. Totally sold. Since it is a reboot, I can forgive the music but mind you, it is only a trailer. the music in the game might be different but I liked the music in the trailer.
As far is Dante being awesome is concerned, well, he still does. I, for one, is sold for this one. |

Well, since it does look like a good game, I will play it, because I'm not put off by the color of people's hair, you racist dipshits who are afraid of change.
I know that Dante has a cult following in these parts, but seriously, it's time to grow up, people. Just because Dante has brown hair instead of white, that doesn't mean he can't still kick ass by a wide margin.

I like it. The music rocks, that crappy metal music did not work after DMC1.
DMC4 was terribly stale. Different is good, and this different and familiar.

Day one huge fan of DMC and I'm impatient to play this game. I want to see what they have in store for the story... I don't mind if Dante's hair not white YET...
They can't use a Demon Form since Dante got it in DMC3 and since it's look to be BEFORE that... I think the psycho Dante getting the truth about demons and all is perfect. CAN'T WAIT! |

Hmm. . . so as others have said on this little tidbit I guess Dino's DT is Dante. . . my guess of the plot is this from what I've gathered;
Some prison/gov't drugged Dino when he was in prison to the point where he has super-human strength and stamina. The drawback is though he preceives the world as a "lie" disorting average things like people and cameras into demons and forces of the demonic realm. His transformation into Dante just makes him lose his sense of. . .reality even more. Hes esentially a skitso. . . sorry Ninja Theory but I'm not biting.
as for #44. . . . people's hair color leads to racism? I feel bad for the fucked up 3rd world country you come from.
On that matter its less about the hair and more about fucking with an icon. Think about it if you took Mario and made him look like Luigi would people really accept that truth? What if someone took Sonic and made him slow? Its the mindset not just about a simple pallete swap. |

| Plus I cannot stress when I say Dante's backstory has already been told in other forms of media. . .so taking all those and just chucking them out the window. . .thats going to make alot of fans who were dedicated to such other forms of media to be like "well shit Capcom whats the deal?" I understand reboot and all but I just think they should have taken on all angles instead of making a half assed attempt to breathe new life into a story that had so many loose ends that weren't addressed. All and all I've become increasinglly frustrated with Capcom's lackluster releases in the past and even releases that did absolutelly amazing were given no to minimal support. If Capcom wanted to keep DMC in the spotlight the should have released content for DMC4 to support it but instead all they did. . . was leave it to dry same goes for MvC3 content that was announced before the game release? Content that was already in the OSG? Wait a second?! . . . . Ic whatudid thar! Its rediculous and an utter shame on how Capcom treats some of their AAA titles. |

I still think that emo Dante is the worst character redesign since blue and white electromagnetic Superman.
Devil May Cry 1, 3, & Bayonetta are more deserving of the DMC name than Ninja Theory's effort seems so far.
Didn't Heavenly Sword have a lower review score average than DMC4? |
