Be better if there were new achievements instead of just maps since this was like the most anticipated game in history yet it doesnt have any new achievements i mean gow and many more had extra achievements but why not one of the (suppossed best) game in history? maps sound good. |

b) Someone said they wanted the older maps free - Bungie has stated that when this Map Pack comes out the Heroic Map Pack will be free.

The only reason I care about this is that it means Heroic Map Pack will be free the same day. As if I'm paying $10 for three maps. Maybe I'll buy a gold card for GTAIV the same day. Haven't played online since early January. |

i don't know about any of you..but while getting these maps is swell, the last maps aren't even integrated into the online..so the only way to play them is in custom..why spend 800 bucks on that again? 3 map packs were available for Halo 2, all free, and all online..as much as i want the maps..unless bungie puts them online, i wont pay for them.. |

wow... wonderfully overpriced. gotta love that! Why don't they make map packs 400 at the most? If this was the PC I would have more and better free maps. I haven't played halo since COD4 came out... I still need to finish up 25 achievement points and then I can finally trade it in. |

i bought the heroic map on the dashboard on christmas morning nd i havent played one map since i said ill take a long break from halo since tht was all i had played since september but now tht its coming out for free tht was 10$ way down the drain ill just take it as an experience from gears and halo dont buy downloadable maps since they will only become free a couple months later |

That's not necessarily true. Although they do not appear as often as the maps that come with the game, I have played some of the original DLC maps in matchmaking. After a few weeks the matchmaking algorithm started looking to see if you have the DLC and put you in that map if all players had the DLC. Obviously, since only a million people have DLC, it happens less often. However I have played on DLC maps in Lone Wolves, the Championship playlist, and Team Slayer (or Team Objective, I forgot). Further, if and when the maps become free, DLC owners will have a several month head start -just like in Halo 2. |

Reason for it being $10 is because Microsoft knows people are going to buy them since it is Halo. That is why there are no new achievements yet because Microsoft is milking it until they are willing to say "Put on new achievements."
I know Im going to be playing Halo once these maps come out. |

They should make like a "Rewind" map pack where it is like 6-8 maps from the previous Halo's. I would buy that map pack for 800mp. But 3 for 800! and some of them being remakes!? (I really liked sidewinder...so I'm not bashing on that.) It just seems like they are having trouble making new map designs. Just give us all the remakes at once and focus on new stuff for the other map packs! |

Its going to be TITS (AWSOME) when the heroic map pack becomes free! Every single time I play the same map over and over again I get really bored and I have to resort to team killing or like doing stupid crap like that just to keep myself entertained and I am definately going to buy the legendary map pack just to have more maps to play instead of the same old ones. Now my teammates do not have to watch their backs!!!! hahahahah.
