They really need to outshine DA2 with this game, because we don't want another rushed game. The Witcher 2 is a lot better from what i've played so far, so i can't wait to see if we're getting the console version of that.
Skyrim just got more pressure on the RPG of the year part, because of The Witcher 2. |

If its anything like DA2, I am boycotting the entire Dragon age series.
Origins was excellent. Make 3 like origins just with logical improvements and graphics improvements, and we have a deal. |

| Hope they take longer with it this time, I liked DA2 but it felt rushed, Bioware should really avoid churning games out too fast, two year periods between sequels is definitely enough time to wait for an awesome game. |

I'm sorry, but Dragon Age II was a joke. Awakening was out too soon after Dragon Age, and Dragon Age 2 was out too soon after that. The fact that they had to fix over 100 bugs in the first patch (some of which were as simple as just equipping/unequipping a shield) really highlights the fact that it was rushed to make a quick buck.
It would also be nice if they moved the Mass Effectinizaton they gave DA2, as well. The same menu and dialogue wheel really made it feel less like its own game.
Don't get me wrong - I really love DA1. It had it's faults, but generally sequels fixed those faults, not exacerbate them.
BioWare, don't kill this franchise too early. Give it the time and care that it needs to be GOOD. |

@#5: Wasn't it already confirmed that it would be coming to consoles?
I've heard that Dragon Age II wasn't as good as it could and/or should have been, but I can't make that judgment for myself until I actually get around to playing it. |

| How is it too soon? Think about the time between the final Origins DLC and Dragon Age 2 coming out. You really think the game was developed in that short of time. Do you think developers JUST started working on Mass Effect 3 now that the last Mass Effect 2 DLC released? No, they work on it for a long time, even as they make DLC for the previous. Good to see they've taken another step towards the next sequel. IMO, Origins was way better than DA2, but I still loved 2. Can't wait for some of that DLC. |

@11 Why the hell do idiots like you start calling every series Call of Duty whenever there is more than two games in it's series.
Besides we need a 3rd game anyway, yeah DA2 wasn't the best, but the end of it set up for DA3 in an interesting way, with Leliana and Cassandra starting there hunt for Hawke, and I would personally like to see where that goes (though that could be because Leliana was my favorite character in Origins). |

OT: glad they are making a third, loved the first two, although the second felt rushed, would like to see em take their time and make a quality game, they have the talent and rsources, thats for sure. |

| I hope they put more effort into this one. Loved the first one. They should combine the environments and story of the first with the new gameplay elements from the second. That would be nice. Better dlc support wouldn't hurt ( like ME2 with the Cerberus Network )... |
