@ 4. Agreed. I'm not surprised either while I will have enough games to keep me occupied. @ 12. If you didn't kill him then yes he'll be a part of your crew because they announced Ashley as a crew member. @ 13. Delays have been done before while those delays can cause people to lose interest like Alan Wake coming out with Red Dead Redemption to avoid the 2009 Christmas Season. A delay is a double edged sword because it can become a positive or negative. @ 16. You forgot about Skyrim, Rage, Batman: Arkham City, Resistance 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and Spider-Man: Shattered Memories while you forget that more titles can be announced after E3 happens. |

| I was just thinking this yesterday when I finally got my ME3 Game Informer. There were two years and a few months between the first Mass Effect and its sequel and they hit ME2 out of the park. If they were to maintain that same development schedule between ME2 and 3, hey - no biggie there. It only spells success. We saw what happens when development is rushed to capitalize on the enthusiasm of an IP (see Dragon Age 2). They know ME3 is a big honkin' deal, so I say let 'em take their time and make it exactly what they want it to be: awesome. |

| Not complaining, this was getting overlooked by me because of Skyrim. At least now, if it's released end of February say, I might have had enough time with Skyrim to allow myself a few weeks with ME3. As it was, the couple of weeks gap wasn't enough for me. Skyrim is far and away the more important game for me, but ME has been a good series and ME3 deserves a players full attention. It just wouldn't get that from me with Skyrim in the mix. |

With Gears 3 released in September, Batman in October and Skyrim in November, I'm not too upset about this news. ME2 was released at the end of January, and that was definitely benefitted us as gamers because there wasn't much else out around that time. ME2 won plenty of GOTY awards, which is surprising for an early release - traditionally, GOTY games are released in the September - November period. I have every faith in Bioware to get it right. |

EA and BioWare make their right decide because Mass Effect 3 need more time to make other series of perfect so good news 2012 get more titles into it. Plenty games on way this autumn/fall and winter/christmas time: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrims Uncharted 3 (PS3) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) RAGE Gears of War 3 new Call of Duty title Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (PS3) Dead Island Batman Arkham City Saints Row the Third Battlefield 3 Sonic Generations Deep Black and load more on way this later year after Summer!!! So that plenty games on way before Mass Effect 3 finally arrive :D I happy that Mass Effect 3 and other games move back into 2012 because plenty more games before 2012 born and Mass Effect 3 need more times polish and add up more stuffs into game :D Cannot wait Mass Effect 3 almost love 2nd series more then first but love Mass Effect series. Look forward Mass Effect 3 and believable it gonna be another perfect of series :) |

I always knew it would never come out this year, a year and a half is hardly enough time to get a game like this ready, especially when they where also working on DLC and the PS3 port of ME2. @33 Well they could add KotOR 1 onto XBLA if they wanted to, but not KotOR:TSL because that was made by Obsidian not Bioware. |

I sort of expected this to happen, though it is still unfortunate. I don't buy the "delaying it so we can polish" routine. While I'm sure that's what the studio will spend their time doing, it's much more likely it was delayed because the holiday games window this year is already packed with quality releases. |

Plus I would rather they spend the time required to produce a quality product, rather than produce a game like KOTOR II.(I am aware it was produced by Obsidian, and not Bioware; I was simply providing an example.) |
|

THANK GOD. No offense to everyone, but I can do without ME for another year. After I forget most of the second one, I'll probably go through the awful gameplay again. Only interested in the third one for the story. |

| With all the MP games that come out in the fall and xmas, this is okay with me. The start of the year is usually slow. Pushing this back to than makes me happy. Although I want to play this, I want to enjoy it. Knowing I have other achievements to grind on another game sucks. |

@57/78 Actually if you knew even half as much about the game as you pretend to, you would now that it was LucasArts that published KotOR:The Sith Lords NOT Bioware. LucasArts wanted Bioware to develop the game in the first place, but they where busy with Jade Empire, and suggested Obsidian for the job. Bioware allowed Obsidian to used the Odyssey Engine, as it was the same engine Bioware used themselves for the first game, and offered Tech Support while using the engine. But while Obsidian used Bioware's engine, it wasn't Bioware's fault that the game was horrible. Obsidian failed to meet there deadlines and released an unfinished game with a ton of missing content, which LucasArts had no problem publishing. |

| Dangit, there goes that Christmas gift. Hopefully it'll be worth the extra time. Bioware does work magic in very little time, so with a ton of extra time, it'll hopefully be amazing. |

| @ 94. Bioware collaborated with Obsidian because Bioware was the Publisher since they had the right from Lucasarts and Obsidian was the Developer. Don't forget that Obsidian used the KotOR Engine for KotOR 2. The fault belongs to both Bioware and Obsidian because they collaborated together to make KotOR 2. |

These aren't new screens they were in GameInformer >.> I'm a little annoyed but not extremely. The only game coming out this year that I'm really excited for is Skyrim. I'm not into Batman or Gears Of War. ( Sorry fanboys that is just my preference ) I still have a lot of RPG's to finish so I guess it's not that big of a deal. But I agree I think it needs the time for polish. Dragon Age II was good but really rushed. And I think BioWare is not headed down a good path even though they are my favorite developers western rpgs. |

@55 see that's why I wish they EA wouldn't advertise games like Mass Effect as a 'fraghead' game it would keep the dickwads like yourself away from good story - driven games. |

| Would have picked this up over skyrim any day of the year. Inwould have, on the other hand had issue choosing between dedicating time to this and to assassins creed. Skyrim I can wait for a goty type edition. |
