Pretty sure they said you'd get Fable 1 if you order if for GFWL not Steam.

@9: Why not nab the Games for Windows Live client to get Tinker as well? Relatively easy achievements. =o

#10 Oh but i already have it, its just that with : Steam, impulse, desura and GFWL it takes alot of resources. Probably gonna stop using impulse though, with gamestop taking over that, ugh.

I will download it on Steam when it goes on sale :) I'm not particularly interested in the pre-order bonuses anyway if I can save money in the long run instead.

Oh now that you talk about steam, got a question: does playing a game on steam rather than GFWL still allow to unlock achievements?

Lets see which sells better. The Witcher 2 or possibly a bad console port of Fable 3.

It should be the other way round - buy fable TLC and get fable 3 free.

TLC was an overall better game.

@17 Ah thanks! So I assume we have access to the steam pad AND the live board at the same time when we play a game for windows from steam?

What happened to Fable staying on the Xbox? Well looks like Microsoft are losing another franchise...

#21-Apparently you don't follow Fable whatsoever, as "The Lost Chapters" mentioned in this article came out on PC in 2005.

@24 Exactly what I was going to say lol, people just don't bother to understand the way things work and then just post thinking they are being smart. Anyway this is weird, I am glad I can now buy it through steam so it is tied to my steam account and I can also get achievements but it is weird Microsoft giving steam pre-order exclusive things, its like they are asking for it to have better sales on steam. Just a bit weird to me when they are trying to improve their GFWL service and its popularity.

I will buy it for sure to get this 1250 :) Yay!!

I love to play both GFWL games and xbox360 games. I like to make all the gamerscore on each version. I did both RE5 full GS and i'm working on Dead Rising 2 and Fallout 3 !!

@23 and 24 If you actually read what I said, I said it was being lost on the Xbox at E3 2010 they said it would be staying on the Xbox. Also, steam isn't exactly Microsoft' now is it? And yes I know windows is owned by Microsoft.

@27 Steam just sell the games it not as if its one of those Steam exclusive games that you have to install through steam. It's a GFWL game being sold on steam like many other GFWL games.
