Oh Boy! Horde mode? Sounds new and unique, and I'm sure it will never catch on. Those guys at Violation must be crazy!

This was one of the games I was really looking forward to this year but I lost interest in this when they got rid of the unique competitive MP, there isn't another game that has this type of destruction. THQ lost a fan and a couple of purchases when they did that, I'll either rent THQ games or buy them used from now on.

I thought the whole point of the newer Red Factions was mass destruction?

Why couldnt they leave the games alone! The first one was amazing, blowing up huge holes in the Walls like worm holes and making a maze with deadly drops in multiplayer was fantastic! Now all I can destroy are buildings but not even chip a stone off a rock.....? Granted I havnt played or seen this one in action yet but the previous game had me playing a miner.......who couldn't make a dint in a rock, the floor or anything that reminded me of red faction. /rant.

I don't know why so many people are mad the last game Red Faction Guerrilla was more like playing Dragon Age Origins and Red Dead Redemption with the constant walking and wandering. I mean sure Red Dead and Dragon Age are cool games but Guerrilla felt labored with the constant walking and tedious side quests you had to do. Sure the multiplayer was competitive and fun with the jet packs and other various equipment. But this campaign looks a lot more linear and straightforward takes out a lot of the guess work so you can focus more on the story than getting lost in the endless directions you could go in Guerrilla. It seems like their taking a page from Bulletstorm's and Gears of War's book, what with the Horde like Infestation mode and like Bulletstorm in that their is no multiplayer except the Horde or Anarchy modes. And I know Gears of War 3 has online but this game looks fantastic. But that's just my opinion. Can't wait looks great!!
