YEAHHHH engage an enemy whilst walking down an open road (Y)Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:05 AM
I'am always gonna be a battlefield fan boy! - no matter how many trailers I watch for this game, I just know battlefield 3 is gonna be 10x better.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:14 AM
Co-op Campaign, that's what i'll be enjoying.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:14 AM
@2 for multiplayer damn right, but! Even though code masters are twats for taking flash points name and makin a sub-par game they have done a good job in making a tense 'realistic' shooter especially in coop. I'll buy it just not straight away because I have a feeling it will be £20 within a few month like the first. Plus you can't really compare bf to opf, ones "Arcade" the others "Realistic", complete opposite sides of the shooter genre.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:19 AM
@2 Still this may hold us over until then. Still not sure about this myself, I'll wait for a review.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:21 AM
Definitely going to wait for reviews this time! Once burnt & all that!Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:48 AM
New locations, new missions, new enemies... but the rest hasn't really improved, has it? Graphics and sound. I enjoyed Dragon Rising but they cannot deliver the same stuff twice.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 12:00 PM
This looks twice as good as Dragon Rising, though I am not sure if that would be taken as a compliment or an insult.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 12:25 PM
LOL! This actually looks half decent, of course added fun from playing with your buddies. Still none of my buddies will be picking this up, so it's still a no:-PMonday, April 11, 2011 @ 12:30 PM
we all know battlefield is the best u can play and nothing will beat bf! BUT this game i will buy anyways the first on pc was awesome 2nd on xbox was a massive let down so i hope this will be just as good :)Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 12:39 PM
ooooh co-op campaign win win win winMonday, April 11, 2011 @ 12:56 PM
if i want to buy or rent the game i'm gonna need a big glasses..the enemy soldiers are very tiny, it's a shame they aren't enlarged. i would've liked if they were that big like the Modern Warfare soldiers i would pick up the copy and enjoy playing, oh well it's a miss for me i'll pass.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 01:12 PM
I liked Dragon Rising im sure i will like Red River. But there still so far away from what made the original PC versions so great.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 01:41 PM
is there a split screen coop campaign available? or just through xbox live?Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 02:28 PM
Still getting this, though I wonder why the different dates? Surely they wouldn't decide to polish up the NA version and not the European version!Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 02:33 PM
@12 obvious troll is obviousMonday, April 11, 2011 @ 02:53 PM
meh...not all that impressed. take the 4 player co-op out and It would be a $20 game in no-time. Ill give it a go once its dropped down in price but the first one (Dragon Rising) just couldn't keep my interest long enough. We'll see if this one has a compelling story line or not...Fingers crossedMonday, April 11, 2011 @ 03:10 PM
Judging by this video, the gameplay looks more refined and better than Glitches Rising. I hated DR because of the terrible draw distance, terrible lag and glitch issues, clipping issues, and most of all, ridiculous AI that can hit me from miles away when I can't hit them from meters away.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 04:44 PM
Looks awful! It's a shame seeing what has become of the Operation Flashpoint brand. I wouldn't even play this if it was free.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 05:23 PM
another crap flashpoint game - ill pass on this with ease ! glitchparadise 2.0Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 06:07 PM
@14 good question, i want to know it too...Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 06:49 PM
Looking forward to this one as I really enjoyed Dragon rising.Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 08:44 PM
@12 Don't want to sound like a douche but it's a thing called perspective, not all wars are fought up close and personal in fact many skirmishes in open places like Afghanistan are often engaged at long to medium range unless one side is rushing to take groundMonday, April 11, 2011 @ 08:59 PM
whats up with the 2 month delay for the north american release date?Monday, April 11, 2011 @ 11:53 PM
Looks like good fun.Tuesday, April 12, 2011 @ 04:56 AM
REALLY looking forward to this, me and my 'squad' will definitely pick this up on release day for some CO-OP fun. Http://thegeekmill.blogspot.comSunday, April 17, 2011 @ 11:35 PM
@yeah agree! Already preordered, coming in 2 or 3 days. @ all haters: This game is the ONLY war simulation an the box. It (both parts) is maybee not best looking game out there, but is definitely the most realisic! And this is the reason (@ 12) why far away enemys are tiny, go out test this with real people. This not an arcade game like CoD or Halo.

As Operation Flashpoint: Red River gears up for release (in Europe anyway), Codemasters has released a new trailer today, showing off the game's co-operative multiplayer gameplay, which has you leading a four man fireteam, consisting of a Rifleman, Grenadier, Auto Rifleman and Scout.
In the trailer, we get to see the fireteam embarking upon a mission in the Tajikistan hills, weeding out insurgents nestled within the grassy valley. There's lots of down-the-scope gameplay to observe, including a bit of sniping, some running and hopefully an extraction via a helicopter LZ.
Will the team make it? Find out in the new gameplay trailer below. Operation Flashpoint: Red River is out on April 21st in Europe and June 7th in North America. For more on Op Flash: Red River's co-op gameplay, have a read of our hands-on preview, then for even more, check out our Red River interview.
