Second Dose of GRAW 2 DLC Confirmed.

Second Dose of GRAW 2 DLC Confirmed.
Written Monday, March 03, 2008 by Alan Pettit

Well folks, as I reported a few days ago GRAW 2 has been updated to 1250. As I suspected, this hinted at a second dose of DLC which has now been confirmed by Team Xbox. They claim the DLC is available now, but as of yet there is nothing on the marketplace.

  • 5 New Co-Op Missions: Bridges, Stronghold, Depot, Riverbed and Ghost Town
  • 9 New Adversial Maps: Bridges, Stronghold, Depot, Riverbed, Ghost Town, Roadblock, Island, Treatment Plant and Mining Camp
Cleverly titled "Co-Op Collection 2" this should be available very soon, but no price has been confirmed. Check that original news post for the new achievements, or the game's page of course.

GRAW is a great series, I had held off on GRAW2 but will now pick it up as I love doing co-op games.

I will have to pick this game back up at some point. Co-op is a blast.

Stallion, if you can get it today you can join myself and Creech and a few others. We're starting on the first DLC pack today.

Yes, all of the modes I tried out had quite a few people online. Note that MOST of them seem to have the 1st DLC pack, so if you don't have that you won't be able to join a lot of the matches (although you can always host one, and they can join yours...)

I reckon this will pack will be out before the 20th of March because on play.com (ok not alot to go on there because the date could change) the GRAW 2 legacy pack will be released which features all of the game and xbox live downloads on disc aswell.

Yeah, DLC is always a good thing, but maybe they should spend some time designing GRAW3. I'm sure we'd all love that even more than a few extra maps and stuff for a game we've been playing for god knows how long.

Sadly this is coming too close to the release of Rainbow Six Vegas 2, so think I'll pass as I did for the first DLC. I still own this game though so might eventually give it a whirl if they ever make any of it free

Should be a good time for all, eh? Since the apparent wisdom from the heads at Ubisoft tends towards either ending or revamping both Rainbow 6 and GRAW franchises before a 3rd series, the added shelf-life relevancy they're injecting through the DLC at least pads the landing for us fans. I'm in agreement with Saracin, though, this just invades on my time for Vegas 2.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
