| I personally do not like the new art style one bit. It was fine for Borderlands, and I didn't play Splatterhouse, but I don't like the idea of them changing the art style to a sequel. |

| I with you #1. The first game had great graphics at the time, and they still don't look half bad. Changing the art style to me, like you said, is a bit unnecessary. But who knows, maybe it will turn out to be rather nice. I just hope the multiplayer ends up being better than the first game, and please, I beg you, no The Don achievement! |

I think there going to ruin this game I really hope they don't because I loved the first one
I also don't like the art style they've gone for it reminds me of xiii. |

@#5 Angelus would be better since Jackie and Angelus conceive Witchblade.
OT: I think the game is gonna be great, 1st one was and I also think it is in good hands with DE, DarkSector was a pretty cool game in its own right. |

| I'm 50/50 on the cel-shaded style as well. It worked out surprisingly well for Zelda: Wind Waker, a drastically underrated title and I accepted it in Prince of Persia reboot...but still felt the old style would've sufficed just fine. I barely paid attention to it in Borderlands b/c it was easy to just get lost in that game with the co-op instead of scrutinizing the "cartoony" look. The game had cartoon written all over it by the display and story. I only just recently played the Darkness and liked the powers but just the progression didn't sit well with me. We'll see on further gameplay trailers if I'll give it a go. |

| This just confirms my fears that it will be actual setp back from original. While it's MP sucked (and we might as well get another sucky MP here), single player was done to perfection, so I really could not complain about something I did not have to play. The style and whole skill point based system is not terrible, but definitely takes away from what first Darkness was. |

| the first darkness graphics were awesome for the time, and although I think they should maybe have stuck with that style, I do think it looks really nice. and in all fairness the cel shading isn't like too over the top. I'm looking forward to this, regardless of graphics because its the game itself I'm interested in. |
