This isn't really a problem for me since I use Amazon all the time anyway, and I don't even want it. My friend however, has no Amazon account and desperately wants this game. I'm expecting a call from him anytime now. Seems like a rather stupid move not selling it in stores. |

F to the A to the I to the L. "Eager to get our game out to the RPG hungry masses..." Now that's the funniest thing I've heard in years. See below. "TopWare Interactive is releasing the widely popular and highly anticipated Two Worlds II exclusively on Amazon in the UK on Tuesday, 1st of March, 2011." So they're 'eager to get the game out' yet push the release date back AGAIN. WTF? Contradiction much? Looks like TopWare is pulling a Ubisoft on us. Wait, I take that back, I forgot, people aren't allowed a sense of humour these days. :D |

To be honest, I think its a good thing. lol Monopolies in products never do good things for prices, all it takes is Amazon to bump it up to £40 and voila, no sales for you. |

LMAO just found this on Wikipedia, not sure if it's true although I wouldn't be surprised: "The games publisher Topware Interactive has been accused of influencing reviews scores of Two Worlds II. The company purportedly blacklists any outlets that awards a score less then 7/10." |

That's horse shit, and I'm not even in the UK, nor care to get this game. They do that here for games, and I stop buying games. Not everyone can buy from Amazon. I don't have a credit card, which means I can't buy from them. It's like bands that release exclusively through one retailer and wonder why their sales dip. Good job guys. |

This is taking the piss, I'm sorry, but it is. Fuck it, I'm not buying it new now, like I had originally planned. I've been fully in support of Two Worlds as a franchise since the first game, but this is too much, frankly, now, I don't want them to get my money, I'd much rather give all my coin to CEX or Gamestation to get it second hand so Topware don't see a penny of it. I've always believed in buying games new out of preference, I believe in supporting developers with our money, but when they start taking the piss like this, then fuck it. I get the recent delay, that couldn't be helped, but that doesn't excuse the last 6 months needless delay and that doesn't excuse them dropping this on us now. They can go to hell. |

This is severly going to impact sales, the majority of people still buy games direct from a high street store, offering a new game at only one online store is gonna cost them alot of sales, and to be honest this game would not sell alot of copies even if it was available everywhere. I doubt there will be a Two Worlds 3 and im gonna laugh if Topware turn around and say they are disappointed with sales in 3 months time, they have shot themselves in the foot big time. |

Two Worlds was total dog shit. The trailers for this were and are terrible. I refuse to believe they did a complete 180 to make this game the masterpiece that they claim it to be. I still have a hunch that the sequel is dog shit, too. Regardless. This is a shady move, at best, by the developer/publisher. Why they wouldn't release it at all retail outlets in the UK only begs the question: Why? Afraid they'll ship way to many units of a shit game that'll just end up collecting dust until they're dropped down to dirt cheap prices? Probably. This way, they can directly control how many units are produced and shipped. Fuck you, Two Worlds. And fuck those responsible for making you. Leave the development of games to developers that know what the hell they're doing. |

admittedly I never had much interest in this game but this killed all interest i had, i have no problem with ordering from Amazon but it is a ridiculous business move taking a game of the high street. i did work in game retailer once and the amount of people that come in "Just browsing" and leave with a £40 they have never heard of before but like the look of is staggering. that cant happen on-line and sales will suffer for it. |

| I honestly cant beleive Topware is pushing the title back again. First it needed polishing, then in october they claimed they didnt want it to compete with other RPG's. About 4 months later they still delay it and put it out around Dragon Age 2. I sent a long and hatefull message to them when they delayed the game 1 week before release back in october, so i feel for you guys. Most disappointing of all is how fast youll fly through the single player campaign and how fast higher levels will blitz you through the mulitplayer levels. To limit themselves to amazon like this is the nail in the coffin. Fooled me twice , shame on me. |

What's the logic in this? I don't see how it benefits the Devs or Publishers. Surely all it does it forces the cancels a whole bunch of pre-orders and is liable to piss people off. Anyway, TW had promise, but I'm gonna wait for a price reduction before I risk buying this. |

I had the Royal Edition pre-ordered with Game. Now, I'm not sure what edition I'll be able to get from Amazon. While Game are trying to take the sting out of the tail, by offering people who had it preordered a £5 e-voucher, I'm still gutted (mainly because I can't use it for Dragon Age 2, as I'll loose my Signature Edition!). |
