Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

With Marvel vs. Capcom 3 storming in last week, you might have expected it to shoot straight to the top of the charts, but with Call of Duty: Black Ops getting its first proper price cut since release, it was perhaps inevitable that it would end up pipping the explosive versus fighter to the post. MvC3 still slots neatly into second however, as Test Drive Unlimited 2 slides into fourth, Madden NFL 11 plummets back down the charts and Dr Kawashima's Body and Brain Training Exercises has a more successful second week, probably thanks to all the adverts currently playing on national TV. Kinectimals also re-enters the charts at number 20, showing that there's still demand for anything and everything on Kinect, while Kinect Sports, Joy Ride and Dance Central hold fast in the top ten.

Next week, Bulletstorm snags a chart spot with its leash.

	Not shocked by this at all, the MvC series doesn't seem to attract a lot of people, at least on my friends list, plus with a price cut to BO, it was inevitable. I don't mind it though, I think BO is the best CoD since CoD4.

	Shame to see that Death Smiles didn't make it into the top 40... especially as most places seem to be selling it for around £15. Such a fun game. I guess we won't be seeing the sequel over here... or any other bullet hell shooters, for that matter. Not for me to judge, but... don't people want to try other genres any more?

	#4 I doubt Kinect will die out with 8 million users. There is more chance of Yawn of Duty dying out. Lets hope so anyway its getting fucking boring now.

	@13 So because I do not like Kinect I am worthy of death? That's a lovely sentiment I'm sure. I have tried it, but not on my XBox/GamerTag. I have played several Kinect games on a friend's machine and thought they were all diabolically awful. This is my opinion only. As #9 put it, 8 million users disagree. Well isn't that dandy. You win. Hooray.

	Somewhat harsh #13! I'm sure Kinect will endure as it reaches a wider audience, meaning more revenue for Microsoft and, hopefully, more investment in better games going forward. I'll gladly take 100 Kinect games if their originality inspires regular games to expand their horizons!

	@24 It is not the worst CoD of all time, the campaign on it was good, the MP was good, and zombies is always good. MP is way more balanced than it was on MW2.

	MvC3 is awesome i recommend it to anyone, i ended up buying an arcade stick with it and its insanely fun, reminds me of gaming in the 90's.

	@20 Yes, Because Mass Effect 2 wasn't a reskin of Mass Effect, Assassins Creed Brotherhood wasn't a reskin of AC 2, Halo Reach wasn't just a reskin of Halo 3 with some improvements and better graphics. Please. So Call of Duty since Cod 4 getting zombies and/or spec- ops depending on which one you are speaking of, custimizable killstreak rewards, custimizable guns/title and emblems oh and obviously better graphics isn't improving?
