| Another studio shutting down? Never played either of these games so I haven't a clue on how good they are. It is a shame to see more studios closing however. |

@4 No Pirates of the Caribbean Armada. Shame another studio goes down. I don't recall Propaganda Games making any worth while games or am I wrong? If any name one or two. |

Turok was rather rubbish and i never played Tron and seen it, its always been the absolute peak of nerdyness for me, but they're still a business and businesses close all the time. Still i hope another studio will open to replace this one however there is a relatively new studio out there with an amazing game in the works, google "Undead Labs"! |

| Tron was borderline unplayable. I thought i would force myself threw for the story and couldn’t stand it after 1st mission. Turok also missed everything that made the originals great. Too maybe 1 hit kill button mash moments took the skill from it. Also no imaginative weapons like the originals made it beyond generic. |

| Thats a shame - never played either as they both looked pretty dreadful - but hay ho life must move on. I am sure if there is some talented people within that studio they will get founded and taken in by other studios :) |

| PotC was cancelled a long time ago because Disney wanted them to do Tron instead. Can't say I'm saddened by this loss; they were a crap studio that made crap games. |

@2: let's put it this way... the Wii Tron game easily doubled the review score of the 360/PS3 Tron Evolution games. Always hate to hear a studio closing... but at the same time it's not like this studio had a legacy of greatness they are trying to uphold. |

I picked up Turok for cheap having played the Demo and enjoying the atmosphere of running through a primeval jungle.Something that did not dissapoint throughout the whole of the single player campaign. Randomly finding little islands of civilisation within enemy compounds made it all the more varied when you were being chased by a flock of Velociraptors and were running towards the trigger happy enemy Mercs. I never played the multiplayer as there was never anyone on when i tried it. The singleplayer was a solid FPS that i agree did nothing new or spectacular. As a Nationally Competing Archer though,i really enjoyed using the Bow on everything, heh heh. The game also looked quite stunning at the time i felt. Tron i imagine is more or less the same as i've not played it and only read bad reviews about it,so will possibly pick this up for cheap to try for myself another time. Again to echo the general sentiment here though, its a shame studio has closed, what with it on the heels of the announcement of Bizarre Creations going down the drain yesterday.I hope this doesn't become regular. |

I agree with #26. Do you not get upset with a shitty meal you order at a restaurant? With enough complaints does that chef not get canned? You can give so much money to a game developer before they are expected to return to you with a decent product. Turok was enjoyable for awhile, but was never a major seller. Tron was also a flop; which disappoints me because I had high hopes. Shutting down was inevitable. Any good talent on the development team will be picked up by someone else. Best of luck to them all. |

| One less studio out there. Once I feel for all the ppl that lsot their jobs (been there - had that done to me) I am happy there will be one less studio that could possibly come up with a game that I would have to have, and believe me when I say it - there is way too many of those out there nowadays. |

@ 26 - Truly. If a store sells crap no one buys they close, it's no different in game development, make some crappy games that don't sell and you close. It's a shame when a good development studio that makes good games goes under, but I don't really think that was the case here. TRON could have been a stellar game...but it wasn't. Pirates was shaping up to be a great looking game though, it's sad to see that one cut down before release. Oh and HAHA!! Just noticed that Propaganda is spelled wrong on Turok's info page so when you click on it in Tron you get Tron and Pirates...but no Turok. Propanagda!?!? Though maybe this also means that soon there will be a price drop/sale on Tron while Disney tries to cut their losses and sell off stockpiles of the game? I'd pick it up for $10-15 to give it a run, but not full retail. |

no biggie about the POTC game, would have been shit if the general movie tie ins are anything to go by. it is unfortunate that they have been forced to close, haven't played tron myself, it came out at a bad time really. i played the turok reboot, and thought it was diabolically bad, but the same could be said about every turok aside from turok 2. hope these guys can find a place in other studio's, would be a shame to lose more dev's. it's a shame that one of the only none childrens game devs of disney is closing, hope it doesn't change their ethos back to what it was before |

| I have not played Turok yet but I'm working on the last chevo for Tron right now and I would love to have seen an escalation mode on Tron it would be a great improvement. I thank this was a great try and I'm one to hope another game company will pick it up and make a new one I mean come on Disney you need to do a third movie this was a great sequel to a long dead movie and i feel the ending was wide open! |
