F.E.A.R. 3 UK Collector's Edition Is Just Plain Freaky

Now don't get us wrong... We love getting collectible figurines in our Collector's Editions, but even we would think twice about picking up this creepy FEAR 3 box, which features a 7" statuette of an emaciated, nude Alma, cradling her glowing, impregnated baby bump.

All lank hair, pale skin and visible ribcage, the Alma figurine is one you definitely wouldn't want to have staring at you in the darkness, but we can perhaps find solace in the other stuff bundled in the box, such as the exclusive FEAR 3 DC comic book and the exclusive steelbook packaging.

There's also a special downloadable in-game weapon to be found in the box called The Hammer. Is it just a big hammer? Probably not. It's more likely a big badass gun. Currently the FEAR 3 Collector's Edition has only been confirmed for the UK market, but it could potentially be confirmed for other territories in the near future.

Seeing players assume the roles of Paxton Fettel and Point Man in single-player or co-op, FEAR 3 should prove to be every bit as tense as its predecessors when it launches later this year. FEAR 3 recently slipped from its March release and will now launch sometime in May 2011. Check out an image (albeit a PS3 one) of the FEAR 3 Collector's Edition, as well as a short video highlighting the freaky Alma figurine. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.

	Never got into the Fear games, but one of my pals loves them and loves CEs with statues and that kind of stuff, I'll let him know.

	Haha, very nice :) That'll look great next to my other figures. Plus with the release date it means that I'll have collected enough money after all the stuff in February and March.

	this could be the coolest figurine that has ever come with a game, it makes the sam fisher one that comes with conviction look even worst and that was a bad one!

	not a fan of getting a toy with a game, especially if its a game intended for mature audiences. A bobblehead or Garden Gnome on the other hand...

	oops hit post. it was just being given away by Shopto. always wanted to get some of the CE's when they have figures or scores or books etc but always been like double the price. if this 1 doesnt end up being £70, which i cant imagine it will be since FEAR isnt as big a name as stuff like COD or AC, then i will pick this up cause it looks really good

	Must get. @9 Yeah they are good. Everyone says the first was the better of the two, but personally i find the second was the better game. (its actually in my top 5 FPS games, i love the interaction with the game)... plus they are good for a scare :P

	Isn't that a picture of "The Hammer" on the DLC Certificate? Looks like a giant pistol with loads of barrels.

	I love the Fear series (especially Fear 2) and I love getting CE's. I'm trying to decide if I'll get this or not (assuming it comes out over here).

	@#9 First one is a must buy. Second was so-so, but you will need to play to know what's going on in 3rd one^^ OT: Cool edition. I might get it few months after release when it's like $40^^

	#9 - Fear games are quality mate, but if you try one and don't like it i doubt you will like the others OT: Love these CE's but could never afford to blow £60-70 on 1 game Anyone think Alma looks abit like that fucked up half Alien half Ripley thing in Alien Resurection??

	i wish fear 2 wasn't dead online. first time i bought the game it wasn't and i had a ton of fun. second time i got it because i missed the online it was dead. i like the statue actually and i hope it comes to the u.s.
