Looks pretty sweet. My only concern is that after April 29 (When GTA4 is out) that many people will either put this game on the backburner or forget about it completely... I might still pick it up... |

GTA will ALWAYS be better but Saints row has it's own greatness too and i am looking forward too this game along with GTA IV .. and especially how the end of the first Saints Row ended .... thanks for the update |

To be honest. I hate gates like this. And the reason I hate them is because of the GTA series. For some reason those games were just no fun to play. And for some other reason, Saints Row kept my attention long enough to actually play through the entire story. Not only that, but I ended up liking it so much that I did all the side missions, tag locations, cd locations, and other stuff. Personally, Saints Row is way better than GTA. |

They look great, but I wouldn't say better than GTA 4. GTA has a gritty realism about it, which doesn't come through on these pictures - plus looking at these, my bell doesn't have pre-cum on it... ;)
No doubt SR2 will be a great game though - certainly looking forward to it, but it's not a day-off-work like GTA is. |

For me the previous GTA (san andreas) lacked creativity compared to Vice City. to much boring open space and overall level design whas very generic.
Saints row whas better in that aspect, keeping the city small but packed with activity. The one thing that makes GTA stand apart from the crowd is its fantastic sense of humor, something all the other sand box games try to copy but none have mastered it like rock star.
all in all i cant wait for both of them :) |

I gotta say im really looking forward to this game. It sucks that its not coming out this year, but still that cool cause im gonna be hooked on GTA IV like crazy anyway...lol. Im a fan any of the games like this just because of the sence of freedom to do whatever you want. I think PhatElvisOfPain made a good point, I too dont see why people dont like both. |

The game looks amazing a must have. I love the gta series like most of us do. but i am excited about the drop in co op. It gta doesnt deliver that feature. it will push saints row 2 onward. cant wait! |

Saints Row was the next gen version of GTA that we didn't have yet. That's what made it so great. It's gonna be tough to decide which is better. |

Saints Row 2 isnt coming out until The 1st Quarter of 2009 so between January and April it will be coming out next year so i wouldn't say that GTAIV and Saints Row 2 will be having any competition. |

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake with the Ranked achievements. In fact, I'd rather they did a COD4 and made them all offline IF they can't sort out the lag compared to the last one. |

Yeah - the jail is a great setting - I just hope that it's nice & atmospheric... It's all good having places like that, but it needs to be immersive enough to make you believe them, rather than just a texture to look at as you go through the motions. |

GTA was a good escape for me to run around and blow things up for a couple hours before getting bored. I thought SR was going to be the same way but I got hooked on how the story was going to progress. SR2 is a definate get for me. Dunno about GTA4 though, its a definate rent for my taste. If I like the story i'll end up buying it. |
