I LOVE the Clash, I was lucky enough to see them 4 times (and once after Mick Jones left) but I hate to say it but I need more good solid ROCK songs...songs the whole family can enjoy. I don't really want my 12 year old daughter singing some of these songs.
Bring on the FUN songs, not the niche stuff. |

Very cool assortment, but personally I can't wait for mid-March (Nine Inch Nails pack - March of the Pigs ftw!). The newest issue of OXM has the March dates listed with which songs are going to be out on a page right before the reviews. I hope they do that each month! There's gonna be a metal pack, a punk pack, NIN pack, and some classic Rock songs. (Lynard Skynard 2nd week! ^^)
By the way, Mr Arrow. >_>; I know what you mean. I know the game is rated Teen, but some of the lyrics are borderline M (especially downloaded content). Rock Band was mostly advertised in kids magazines and ads. Most of the reason why I bought it was so my 8 year old son could become a bit more interested in music. I may be getting old at the ripe age of 25 but I'd be damned if he's going to sing "in Bloo |

They should stop releasing all this punk music. The songs are way to short and way to easy. Thats how punk music is. They need some good metal/rock. Or even some more Lynard Skynard. I love the game, but I want to have songs that challenge me when I play them. Like the Metallica songs. |

Man what's their problem? I know to each their own but still... this is the 5th (out of 6) police song, the 3rd clash and the 3rd Ramones song they've released, 6 of those DLC, where so many other bands go completely unrepresented. Its not really like they are listening to the fans, just releasing stuff they already have connections with because its easy. Id rather have a large number of varied bands of even the same genre than the a whole catalog of one band's good songs. |
