Two Free Doritos Games Now Available On XBLA

Doritos Crash Course

Following in the big dinosaur-shaped footprints of Doritos Dash of Destruction, Microsoft has released two more free Doritos branded XBLA games, each with an unlockable gamer picture, multiplayer support and of course, 200 Gamerscore's worth of achievements.

Both games are a result of Microsoft's US-based Doritos promotion that invites people to submit their ideas for games, the best of which get made into an XBLA game. Doritos Crash Course is a multiplayer platformer that has 15 levels of obstacle-laden challenges to complete as your Avatar.

Harms Way meanwhile is a multiplayer racing game that pits drivers against snipers, with the drivers having to complete 3 laps to win as the snipers attempt to blow up the drivers before they manage to reach the finish line. Head over to Xbox Live now to add Doritos Crash Course and Harms Way to your download queue. They're free!

	Just checked the AUS marketplace and Harms Way isn't their...For AUS and NZ Just create a US account and it should be on the dashboard.

	I can confirm that creating a US account works for Harm's Way. I'm in Australia and have the game... Don't know why they felt the need to restrict one but not the other.

	Nice, queued up both Harms Way and Crash Course. Was worried that it was for the US only, but worked perfect from Sweden. While I was at it I saw that Dash of Destruction was available for download aswell. That game can't be found through the xbox..

	@1 perhaps crash course is slightly harder than dash of destruction but harms way is the easiest 200g arcade to date (IMO) I had finished it in 10 minutes...

	I have them both downloading now. You know, I actually enjoyed the first Doritos game. It wasn't amazing obviously, but I had enough fun with it for however long it took me to get the 200 points (an hour or two? I don't remember).

	@#26 - Fun Fact: I never buy or download a game unless I vaguely think it will be fun. For instance, I have Wall-E, but I only have it because I found it for $6 and I actually love the movie. It was actually enjoyable to me too, although really easy and full of bland music. Likewise, I thought Crash Course looked kinda fun, hence my downloading it. Haven't played it yet though.

	Crash Course reminds me of Trials HD lol :P and quite difficult cheives actually and Harms Way looks like the PS3 game Motorstorm ! and all is free! I might buy some doritos chips to compensate ;)

	@26 I totally agree with you. I have a friend who has 140k and the majority is bullshit games like Hannah montana, while the good games that might take some time to play he doesnt represent. I am proud of my list, I do have a few games that I would take back if I could but for the most part I play games I like. Not to say that I dont think its cool that doritos releases free games, I just probably wont waste my time with them.

	Both pretty good games to be honest! Alot better made than Dash of Destruction. Crash course isnt hard, but is harder than the other games. Think TrialsHDLite :P But still easy gs Harms way is like MotorStorm, but with other ppl as multiple turrets that they can switch to along the track to shoot the racers. REALLY easy 150gs, others i just need to find ppl online.

	Well Harms Way is decent, but holy shit Crash Course blows so hard I deleted it from both my game library and games played list. I remember seeing the Doritos add about this on the dashboard yesterday, saying we get the chance to download and vote for what we think is best. Where do we go to vote? I want to see how far ahead Harms Way is. :p

	@ 26, I wouldn't play something like Miley Cyrus games and the like, but despite it all DoD was free and it wasn't that bad. Fun enough game to kill some time on. If someone looks at my game list and thinks, "what a fanny he has Dash of Destruction" then I don't care. If your having fun, fuck what everyone else thinks.

	Harms Way is decent but i didn't enjoy it more than Crash Course, even though some levels on that crash course are so frustrating. I liked how they added difficult achievements to Crash Course kind of adds life to the game after I 200G Dash Of Destruction i never returned to it. Oh and @26 who cares if all your games are children or easy games, aslong as you have fun then you don't really fucking care what anyone thinks, and are there really more than 90% of video games out there you consinder Children or easy Games? Also i've gotten a game on my list with 0G and i havent deleted it because i don't think someone is actually going to go all the way down to find a 0G game and think what a loser who plays this and game and doesn't earn achievements.

	I love Crash Course...fantastic. My 3 year old was laughing his azz off when I was getting nailed by the hammers. Achievements for Crash are more difficult than "Dash", but the Harm's Way ones must be easy because half my friends already have 200 GS in it.

	Enjoyed these game more than I thought I would. Completed Harm's Way in about an hour, and still working on Crash Course, but they're pretty addicting. Awesome deal for free; sure glad I have an account here, 'cause I would have never bothered to look otherwise.

	listen, they aren't the BEST arcade games on the marketplace, but they're actually better than a lot of the games you could pay 800 or 1200 MP for. i would recommend everyone to check these out.

	They're both pretty good actually. I wouldn't have paid for them personally but for free everyone needs to check em out. @26 - That just means you waste more time on your gamerscore than others. Congrats on no lifing tough games.

	I found Harm's Way to be as good as some 400MSP arcade games but the achievements are far too easy. Doritos Crash Course on the other hand is easy and fun but if you want to get gold medals prepare for a lot of level replays.

	This kinda stuff is genius... I DVR and skip most commercials, but Doritos can get me to look at blantant ads for a couple hours by making these games. Now if only others would follow suit. Free "Waffle House" Diner Dash clone please!

	Harm's Way is great, I'd actually love to see a full retail release but not at full price, maybe £25. But Crash Course is a little irritating but hey its free!

	@67 I guess you never had sex for free, then. Crash Course is pretty hard, but retry a level enough and you can get down a lot of it. The Japan levels start getting complicated, though. Harms Way is awesome. I would have paid money for that game. It's rather polished for a free game. What I do like this time around is that these are less branded than Dash of Destruction. You're not going through an obstacle course for Doritos or avoiding sniper fire in your buggy for Doritos, nor is the game's creator's face pasted on the screen every two minutes. Props!

	Awesome, free gamerscore and cheesy little games are always cool, and I remember watching the people giving presentations on the games they submitted for this contest awhile back, so pretty cool to see them actually playable now. Crash Course is pretty cool but annoyingly hard. Getting all golds..pssh yeah right. Just downloading Harm's Way now, but it sounded cool in the presentation thing.

	I agree with pretty much everything that #100 said, especially the part about having sex for free...nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. ;-) These games are free and of surprisingly good quality, so shut yer pie hole all you nay-sayers! I say you gotta get yer Gamer Score points wherever you can and as long as you have fun and don't cheat, then you deserve them. Crash Course is gonna be insane trying to get all 200GS; very frustrating on the last 3 Japan Levels, so have a beer handy. But, if you're any good at Super Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong, this is your game. I doubt that I'll be able to complete it myself, so good luck boppers. Haven't tried Harm's Way yet, but it sounds like a fun game and hopefully an easy 200 GS. And why not make a free and easy game for us good, hardcore gamers? We occaisionally need a break from the battlefield. But at the same time, I don't wanna spend the rest of my life playing a rinky-dink Doritos game, no matter how good it may be. Just let me take a little vacation from Gears 2 or HALO 3, get a quick 200GS, say thanks for the cheap thrills, and then move on to a game that I really want to play. After all, it's always nice to get an extra 200GS or so for Christmas, isn't it? Thanks to Doritos for playing Santa and Happy Holidays!

	Isn't there supposed to be dl coming out for crash course? I hope its easy but fun...wanna keep my hundred percent but at the same time spend still some time on it.
