| I agree on finally doing the patch. Valve could learn something from this, if every other company can get their patch up, Valve can get their s**t together. Glitched achievements are a testament to their inadequacies. |

yes the patch did not fix anything , it added the 2 slimers for most wnated ghosts but cheevies still dont unlock so the game is still capped at 980.
Some ppl are saying there are some that do unlock the cheevies but only if you didnt already have 980 in the game and if you get them u lose 2 of the prev non glitched cheevies so no matter what you still stop at 980. |

In this day and age a gaming company can't ignore after sale support in the form of patches, and that's exactly what they did. It took huge arguments/disputes with forum mods, petitions, Facebook groups to get them to listen.
Then again what has happened to testers? I almost expect a game will have some sort of issue requiring a patch upon release, its just a case of how serious an issue it is.
I'll be ignoring Atari/Terminal Reality/Threewave in the future.
Such a shame because the GB game and online experience was fantastic. |

Attention all non-readers and non-listeners...
THE GAME IS NOT FIXED!! The incompetence of Terminal Retards have created a patch that inserts Polar Slimer and Glutton Slimer and you can get those achievements ONLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE 980 GAMERSCORE!! If you have 980, you are screwed!! If you NEVER played the game, you will only get 980 gamerscore and a total of 48/50 achievements.
Terminal Retards needs to contact Microsoft and demand that they (TR) give every gamer on their leaderboards 4800 Microsoft Points for their INCOMPETENCE as a refund.
I was excited that I finally checked the forum and saw the news, which then turned into the "I knew it wouldn't work" that was lurking in the darkness behind me.
I would rather spend my money on Cliffy B. (sound of vomiting) than to spend a cent on TR, Atari, and Threewave.

@2 Do you realize it took Terminal Reality over a year to fix their game? Did you know that they would not have bothered to fix the game if so many people didn't complain to them? Nope, only people who have egg on their face is Terminal Reality, and deservedly so.
By the sound of it they didn't fix everything, I highly doubt they care though. |

| I'm also chiming in to declare that the patch is broken. The last 2 slimers have been added, but the achievements won't pop if you have 980 gamerscore in the game before the patch came out. This is a major problem as most people got the obtainable 980 prior to this. |

I have had 980 gamerscore since 8/14/2009. I managed to capture Polar and Glutton Slimer today to complete my checklist. No achievement. I have met all requirements for Payday!. No achievements. You can get these 2 achievments, providing that there is at least 1 other achievement that you haven't gotten yet. example: You have everything except Payday!, No Job Too Big and let us say, Are You A God. If you play ranked multiplayer and get Payday!, you WILL not be able to get 1 of the last 2 needed. |

Apparently the game will always glitch 2 achievements. The 2 glitched achievements in question were glitched for everyone, and the patch didn't un-glitch them for anyone who already has 980GS(i.e. missing these 2 achievements).
If a new person were to pick up this game and get these 2 achievements, then 2 other achievements would glitch and become unobtainable. The game won't let you 1000/1000. It always stops at 980 maximum.
At least that's from what I understand. |

| @22, how is fight night 4 at all broken? my belt wins unlocked.... i do agree its hard to do and champs should be forced to fight as soon as they join a game but its not like acheevs dont unlock but even if you get a title shot are you even good enough to win it? i was the best player on quake 4 by a mile and never obtained my rightful acheevs cos ppl like you think it should be obtainable without the skill to achieve it |

It's a shame it's been more than a year and this "patch" has made the problem worse. Terminal "Retards" need to just auto-unlock every achievement for everyone.
And perhaps lend that idea to the devs of Turning Point: Fail of Liberty.

I'm actually surprised at how this patch is identical to the patch the PS3 received. It won't fix the glitch if you met the requirements before the patch. Those achievements will stay locked forever. It was the exact same way on PS3. Knowing that and because the patch came out well over a year later on Xbox, there's no excuse for Terminal Reality and Atari not to go for a complete fix. It's shoddy work and poor customer relations.
The patch is only useful for people that will start playing the game now or never touched the online portion of it. How realistic is that though when the game has been out for nearly 18 months already? |

I know this has been talked here already, but I just want to make it absolutely clear that:
EVEN WHEN YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME BEFORE THE PATCH. YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO GET ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS.
I started playing AFTER the patch and I'm unable to get the two last achievements. My last one to pop was Overachiever and when the Most Wanted ghosts were captured the achievement didn't pop. Unlike many, I got Payday! but now I'm unable to get Gozer's Most Wanted and No Job Too Big.
Stuck at 975/1000 |
