Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is Ubi's "Best-Selling Launch Title Ever" & New AC Confirmed for 2011

Dan Webb
Ubisoft today announced that the latest instalment of their award winning franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, has sold over 1 million copies in Europe, making it their best selling launch title ever in the region.

Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA Chief of Marketing and Sales at Ubisoft, told MCV, “It’s the best launch in the history of Ubisoft’s European sales, and our best-selling launch title ever.”

“If you compare [the 1m in a week] with last year’s ACII sales this is a big jump – so it’s a great achievement,” he continued.

Sardin attributes this rise in sales to the game’s new multiplayer, but we tend to disagree and we attribute it to the franchise’s rise in quality from one game to the next.

“The main reason the game has succeeded is that we transformed the brand from a single player one to a multiplayer one,” Sardin commented, noting that 60% of all purchasers are playing the new multiplayer modes. Granted, I’m one of them.

Ubisoft also stated that weren’t affected by Black Ops’ huge boom in sales and Sardin said that they have an active DLC plan in place and plan to continue to support the title via DLC. Much like the free pack that’s coming in December.

Sardin also commented on Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot’s assertion at last week’s financials - that a new Assassin's Creed will be shipped out next year - by confirming that there will be another big Assassin’s Creed game coming next year.

“Yes, Yves [Guillemot] mentioned it last week in our financials – and more details will be forthcoming. But what I can say is that next year we will have another big Assassin’s Creed game.”

Active DLC? Super... Let’s just hope the single player gets some love though. Another Assassin’s Creed next year? Ever better.

And with every good news post comes a shameless plug... so if you’re in the UK, don’t forget our Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood competition is still going on.

  • More AC games.. well okay.
  • they are really milking the AC series...
  • Totally Agree
  • I didn't think it did that well to be honest, because only 2 people I know have it lol. But as they say the numbers don't lie. The thing that made me buy it full price was this site's competition. Great game and all but I didn't have a lot of money left after all the other great games coming out lol.
  • @2 No they are not. You need to understand what that term means. I still need to pick up ACB. It looks awesome and by the sounds of it they will support it better than they did with AC2, all power to them I say.
  • WOOOOHOOOOPAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More AC!!! nice hehehe
  • Wait till they see those Christmas sale numbers roll in later, it will be going up at least by one. XD I know a fair few who picked it up already, but skint broke and my birthday is coming up so just added it to my wishlist. I just want to see the story concluded addequately, a milking of the franchise would make a great story shallow.
  • I wonder if it'll be AC3.
  • I WANT SOME F'NG CLOSURE!!!
  • I'm still not gonna buy an Assassin Creed every year Ubisoft. I'll be sticking to my self-imposed "One franchise every 2 years" rule that I already go buy... it works very well lol. Hence why I haven't bought Brotherhood, and will probably pick up the new AC game next year.
  • I really hope they wrap up the story nicely, quite frankly I could have cared less about a MP for this series. Dead Space and Assassin's Creed were just fine as standalone single player games, but hey that's just my opinion. I've still played the MP so i don't have too much room to talk lol.
  • yes please i need the next ac to know what happend the end just left me wanting more
  • Ya but how many of that 60% playing multiplayer are just doing it to boost achievements and how many are playing it just bc they really want to?
  • as long as they r milkin' this franchise with quality titles, which all of these are, i'll buy every single one of them! but please no shitty dlc anymore...just for the record i dont have AC:B right now, but will get it, looks awesome and project legacy is fun :D
  • @#13 a lot actually. I am lvl17 and I have not been in one game that someone would be boosting, Granted best game mode is manhunt, because everyone is beeing more careful and running reckless like in other game modes. I did have host quit on me once and was surprised there was no host migration. One would think it's a standard nowadays. But then again, thye've had dedicated servers ages ago on PC - Gears *cough* OT: I hope it will be proper ending to AC finally and then they can do spin offs all they want^^
  • "Only" 1 year between AC2 & ACB and the new content is just AWESOME. I'm OK with them releasing an AC game every year if they keep on adding brilliant stuff and cool story every time !
  • More AC is always nice, but I hope they bring it back to a prequel/something further explaining the end of the first game..
  • I hope it's AC3. I really want to see an ending to this war.
  • Nooo!!! Dont do it! :( not another AC So soon... Tbh i think brotherhood was to soon... When i play the single player there are still a few tweaks that i think could of been made to imrpove the game, I feel it was not tested enough, same goes for a few small things on the multiplayer, Its not game breaking, but just a little annoying, if they pushed the game back abit i feel it could of been fixed and improved if they had just spent a little more time on it, To me it feels sloppy and rushed... I hope they dont rush this new one and actualy push the game back if they feel its not up to its best. I'd rather a nice working game with hardly anything that annoys the player rather than a rushed peice of crap to reel in more cash, dont join EA and acti on the darkside ubi :(
  • I have a bad feeling tht this is going to end up been milk to shit like cod
  • though ACB was realy good, it was less polished then ac2 was (some minor graphical errors) i fear if they make it a yearly release, i doubt they will make a new engine and it will be outdated, and more graphical glitching will occur
  • i cant believe the first few comments!!!??!!! how the hell are they milking it? its a series and they release the sequels, the story is amazing and how is it being milked? so that means, COD is milked, Halo is milked, Gears of War is milked, Mass Effect is milked, actually any series with more then two games is milked, fifa, al lsports games, everything is milked? nice logic, really nice :S i am well happy that it wil lbe only another year till the next one, it is a unique gameplay ad an amazing rich story that uses factual locations and historical figures in their timeline and story to make a fully immersive story that has you enjoying it every minute. I hope these statistics help ubisoft to keep assassins creed going for a lot longer then one more game in the future as this sits high up on my favourite series of all time and it would be sad to see the story end. with review percentages consistently as high as COD (and ACB being higher then black ops) all it needs is the marketing to cement it and they could do so well with this! Welcome to the Assassins Order!
  • I love the Assassin's Creed series, but I do not agree with releasing another game so soon after Brotherhood. If they were to give it another year and release it in 2012, not only would they give themselves enough time to polish it and refine the story but (depending on whether its AC3 or a 2.75??) it would fit in perfectly with the timeline of Desmonds story. I'm not trolling the series or its creators and their decisions, but that is my opinion.
  • Not really milking it are they when their just telling a story. They can make as many games as they like and still won't be milking it, I personally love the mystery behind the whole franchise. The MP is new and fresh. Better then any other MP out at the moment no lag affecting it and no kids shouting and being jealous of higher ranks. @17 BTW they didnt finsh the storyline from the first one because it followed onto AC2 and they fully explained it, to me theres nothing else to explain there. Bring on AC3.
  • I'm not liking where this is going.
  • 3 excellent single player games on consoles, and 2/3 spin offs on handheld consoles. OMG DEY R MILKING DIS SERIES! Moron.
  • Call of Assassin: Modern Creed
  • It didn't sell well because of MP, it sold well because 2 was awesome and the reviews said they didn't break the formula. Think about it Ubi, and please don't break it for AC3. Also, moar SC!
  • Campaigns are getting shorter and shorter and filled with more flare than action IMO. The COD franchise has succumbed to betting mostly on its MP with a mostly cinematic campaign. Which I don't mind most of the time but it's the depth of the world that AC brings to the table. The city isn't as bustling as GTA but it's not as laid back as RDR. The crowd interaction is amazing with throngs of people chatting it up in the market to hide in to the annoyance of beggars and lute players. GTA was great but they really did put in too much by GTA4. AC begs you to go and explore and admire. Not only that, the game has spurred more people to pursue studying historical cultures than game design. What AC did for bringing the Medievil and Rennaisance times to life is nothing short of uniqe. No game has recreated a themed environment so immersive save God of War and that's completely linear. I felt they really hit the mark with the MP. It's just not perfect but it is DAMN good IMO. I mean, a whole match could be one giant mind game. While there are those who just want to run aroud and stab/shoot their friends, the joy of the hunt and escape is what draws me back match after match.
  • People do know Brotherhood was a spin-off right? You don't have to buy it, the main story-line is in the numbered games, so all there is right now is AC1 and 2.
  • How is that milking. 3 games on consoles that follow a storyline and then a couple on the handhelds wow so many and your one of the little kids who gets mommy to buy cod every year and dnt say they are milking it. The handheld versions are their to branch out into other territories least its not the same console game on the handhelds that ativision bring out. Aslong as the game is long and has a good story it wont matter how many they bring out each year. For all anyone knows they could have several companies making different AC games like activision do. Off point when you call someone a moron dont put it next to "ONG DEY R MILKING DIS SERIES" its OMG they are milking this series. And instead of putting something thats not useful at all and just wanting to start an argument and get some attention that you arent getting from your parents. Think then sod off and go hack or boost your cod.
  • @30 have you completed AC:B yet. Its not really a spin off when it keeps telling the story of desmond and about the 2012 assassins getting the apple thats been the goal for the 2012 assassins to gather the apples of eden or pieces of eden if you will. And at the end they even hint at what AC3 is going to be like. No one can call it a spin off just because its not got AC3 in the name. At the end of AC:B there is such a major development that just leaves you thinking WTF and it will be played out in AC3 so all of you who think its a spin off and arent getting AC:B but are getting AC3 unlucky because you wont know what the hell is going on.
  • @#30 I take it you did no play Brotherhood, because you have no clue what you're talking about. It's as much a spin off of 2 as Modern Warfare2 was of Modern Warfare^^ check you facts, because I'd hate to call you names!
  • its not a launch title :S its just a title. confuse ray. it did so well not because of multiplayer, its because black ops sucks so bad, and the people who like good games traded it in for this.
  • 30 obviously did NOT play Brotherhood at all. If it was just an Ezio story, then it'd be a maybe but the whole game revolves aroun Desmond, Abstergo, Ezio and still small parts of Altair. This just was a slight departure from a standard SP experience. Ezio was the last of the true Assassin's. They are obviously still thriving in 2012 so Brotherhood was a great explanation as to how the Brotherhood resurfaced so-to-speak and this game just about outdoes it's predecessor if not ties it equally. It is much better though IMO.
  • @ 34 - Fat chance. People who bought Black Ops were getting more of the same in their MP. AC gave something new AND enjoyable. It does NOT rob from the SP b/c the best part is that it practically ties into the SP but more on the 2012 part. Assassin's Creed has been Ubisofts top selling IP ever since it debuted. Ubisoft made it's mark with Prince of Persia but the last two didn't even come close to the AC series. Again, the MP on this was very well recieved in the beta and launch. It's unique and has tons of replay value. The only real issue is the server connection which is pretty standard in MP games at this point. Sick of standard "point and shoot" regardless how often I'll go back to it (convenience seems to be key). Cannote wait to see how Visceral takes the stand with Dead Space 2's new MP as well.
  • Bloody hell, 2 main games, a spin off and one more confirmed game and people are moaning about it being milked? I think you need to look the term up. Mario and Sonic, perfect examples of great games now being 'milked'
  • ACB is not a spin off when it concludes the main story and the apple (not giving away the spoiler) but you could not play AC2 and then the new game in 2011 without missing a considerable part of the story. i jsut hope they dont finish the story too soon, i want ot know more about the other peices of eden, enough with the apple lets go back to the staff and the other peices that are mentioned in the other assassin groups and break this wide open, i hope it goes back to teh hideout and we start following other assassins too! All out War!
  • That teat is going to be red and raw by the time they've finished milking it.
  • @37 Sonic and Mario have been around for 20+ years....we're talking 4 games in as many years for AC.
  • If they're actually doing the games well (which they are), then there's nothing wrong with milking it. Guitar Hero became shit because it never developed or changed, and was the same besides the setlist with each release, whereas AC is different, with huge new features each time.
  • I consider a game being milked when its the same game just different skins and a few new features that are just like patches (CoD, GH, RB, Sports Games)... Assassins Creed isn't being milked since the games are fun, add something completely new, and they are original. I was skeptical about AC:B but they really pulled it off nicely... AC3 is a definite buy for me...
  • i thought they said they're going to take a break next year?
  • Let them believe the multiplayer was the reason, as the multiplayer is good even if rather basic. This will prompt them to make a game solely for multiplayer at some point when the assassins stoyry has fully unfolded and come to an end (Hopefully we don't have a game done during WW1 or WW2, too much for one time period).
  • I hope for story line, that they go to England in the 18h Century - it has a lot of really cool architecture and historical monuments to use and they could feature Jack the Ripper as the main villain and somehow Sherlock Holmes is either a friend or an Assassin descendant of Ezio. Or if they put it in Revolutionary America because there is some really good settings to choose from there like D.C. Boston or Philly
  • Hey idiots, they aren't milking the series. The AC game coming out next year is most likely Assassins Creed 3. 2007 = AC1 2009 = AC2 2011 = AC3?
  • @37 97% of Mario games are excellent. As long as a developer can keep making games that kick ass after x amount of titles, then it doesnt matter.
  • NO NO i dnt want AC3 to be churned out and rushed bad move !!!! - i love assasins creed - but i dnt want the franchise to churn out title after title with no significant changes every year ! - like EA sports games and the new UFC ones of l8. At least have a 2 year minimum development cycle ! -Gd news but too bee honest i dnt see the gd in another one out nxt year. :"(
  • Oh my god another AC game for 2011!!! I def thought the next one wouldn't be till 2012. This is great news at least another 2 AC games to be tied in with the story which in my opinion just gets better and better they have totally fucked up my mind!!! Lol bravo to the writers of this game bravo...
  • THIS IS WHAT WILL KILL THE GREAT FRANCHISES. companies like this are so fucking unbearably greedy that they're forcing out a new game every single year for christmas time. call of duty is doing it and now so is assassin's creed. it's cheesy and all its gonna do is make me lose interest in those franchises faster.
  • if you think churning out a new game every single year for the same franchise is good for you as a consumer, you're either a fucking RETARD, or you just don't care about wasting your money. assassin's creed 2 was a giant leap from the original, improving on the gameplay in almost every possible way. now we have assassin's creed brotherhood, the same as part 2 (maybe with even less features) but with a tacked-on multiplayer mode. next year we'll have assassin's creed: whatever which will be still more of the same. they don't care about giving you the most entertaining product possible, all they care about is getting into your pocket and taking your money. i would advise you fanboys not to treat this like it's a good thing.
  • The next AC, I recon, might be the last one. For those who have finished the story might agree.
  • Yes.@2 there not milking the assassins creed series theres only gonna be 4 games. And @52 Yeah it will be I think
  • Again with the 'oh no, not another rushed AC game' comments? Isn't Brotherhood awesome? Then why are you complaining? AC is by no means being milked. Guitar Hero is milked. Sonic is milked. AC is not milked. Gettit? As long as AC doesn't fall into Activision's hands and they start churning out Assassin's Creed: Super Kinect Kart Frenzy, fear not, it's one of the best franchises out there.
  • you guys all sound like halo and COD groupies. before you judge look at those series before you judge something like AC. Halo and COD are milked too s***. How bout this if you dont like the idea of AC 3 coming out next year dont play it, dont complain on here like babies "oh so much money WAAAAAAAAAH". As for ACB its was just a sacrificial lamb to test out Multiplayer. they threw together a small single player that finishes the story of Ezio. because if you've read the wikipedia article on AC2 that the next installment( AC3 not ACB) will feature none of the previous characters and will take place in possibilties such as feudal Japan, king arthurs time period, or england in the middle ages. oh they said it would never take place during WW 1 0r 2. So new characters a new landscape and new time period that would require a new set of weapons and skills. guys i think theyve been working on this for a quite sometime( like maybe in the 2 year spilt that all of the numbered games have come out in ) im sure this is going to be a very fresh game and new experience. All im saying is wait until you hear what its gonna be and if you dont like it dont play it instead buy Modern warfare 3 lol.
  • lol i heard their making another AC game 2 weeks ago..its insane :/
  • anyone who took the time to comment on how it isnt worth bringing out the fourth game so soon has obviously done so for there own reason, like money for example... but think about it... you might say that assassins creed : brotherhood was bad... yet youre commenting such things on an article that proves you otherwise? silly people... facepalm yourselves now! money reasons i understand, but moaning about "no improvement on mechanics" OBIVOUSLY isnt a big fan... if you dont like it, dont buy it... simply put.. just dont expect to gather much support when commenting the opposite to an article from the developers themselves 'nuff said! :)
  • Ubisoft ain't milking Assassins Creed, it's a good franchise with a great story, I will always buy AC's.
  • Well of course there is an active DLC plan in place. There is with nearly every game nowadays. It is just an excuse to rip people off and make them pay for stuff that should have been in the game. It means they can end up charging £70 or £80 for a game instead of £40. And we all all for it, me included. All the time lol
  • They may not be milking the franchise yet but if they continue their current methods of release, a new one every year, we will get to the point of a milked franchise along the lines of GH. Too often developers stumble on something unique and positive (which AC was and is) and then greed takes over and they rush to release the sequel. Here's hoping for another solid, improved title in the series. And for anyone on here to mention franchises like Gears or Halo as series that have milked, grow up and stop hating. Neither has milked anything. The first Gears came out in 2006, the 2nd in 2008 and the last early next year, not even remotely close to milking. Each game has been significantly altered and offered a new experience (good/bad). As for Halo the first one came out in 2001 and has had 5 releases since. And one of those releases was a RTS game that actually helped prove that genre could work on consoles.
  • @25.. Well said.
  • @ 46 I pretty sure it won't be AC3 the def gonna bring AC3 in 2012 since its about the world ending in 2012. It prob be AC2B!!! Lol the franchise has prob been doing better that they ever thought it would, so why not make a few spin off's while firing in mutliplayer. And at @61 our you kidding me!!!! Each one has been better than the last.
  • AC:B is not a spin-off. Anyone who has played it [to the end] would agree.
  • They are not milking the franchise at all, they are continuing the storyline and building upon it. AC is an awesome franchise :)
  • @64 lol That's all that really needs to be said...
  • its an add on to part 2 its not even technically its own game though it was an amazing game to say the least single and multilayer which are both very fun
  • I love AC...am very happy to hear about a AC III coming out next year.
  • AC 3 obviously! :D Cant wait until I can get my hands on AC:B :)
  • They COULD push AC3 (technically AC4?)back as far as a year but, especially in the video game industry, that's a long F'ing time. Not to mention that every time a game gets pushed back or a sequel isn't released in a very timely fashion it costs them money (not only in actual production dollars but also in inflation costs and how can you put a price on what your investors think of you?) Nobody really thinks about it but Ubi's run by white collars, just like everyone else. The designers are the ones who are like real people. not the big-wigs. Suits are provided by financial backing. They might not have too much of a choice and don't want to admit it....Just a thought....either way I want it to come out next week, myself LMAO!!! All in all, amazing games. All of them. I'm really hoping, though, that they don't go "The Ancients" route, from Stargate SG-1 or something.
  • more ac, yes plz. one of my all time favorite games
  • I wish they had taken another 6 months on ACB. And if they had released it next May or even June, then Ubi could enjoy even higher sales. We all know summer is a dry time for the games industry. Releasing a solid AAA title during that time makes sense to me.
  • Anyone who says they're milking the franchise, they're not...'07, '09, '10 & '11 they just wanna get them done...Brotherhood was just a bonus for the fans, '11 is Assassin's Creed III and THE LAST game. Milking a franchise is like the Guitar Hero and Call of Duty franchises; every year, dumb, expensive (dlc & packs), and short games! ACB FTMFWB! FYAH! !!!
  • As much as I love AC and Brotherhood itself, I must admit that it was watered down a bit from AC2, there were some glitches I found to be really annoying, Like when you go to assassinate a target (not in mp) from behind (Where Ezio shoves the person on his knees and stabs him in the neck with the HB, it would glitch and Ezio would "morph" into the guards body. Y
  • To continue my last post that some how posted itself.... It wasn't a one time glitch either, it would do that every time. Anyways... The point is, had they spent more time (more than a year and pushed it back if needed) it would have raped AC2's face... lol It was an awesome game, just a little sloppy in the gameplay, but the story was awesome as in every AC game thus far. So Ubisoft......TAKE YOUR TIME WITH ASSASSIN'S CREED 3 AND RELEASE IN 2012. yes that needed to be caps.
  • @30- You clearly haven't played the game...
  • @31 Speaking of morons...learn to spell-- "so many and YOUR one of the little kids". It's "you're" not your. "The handheld versions are THEIR to branch out" It's "there", not their. Learn to spell correctly before calling someone a moron, Einstein.
  • So essentially they're turning it into the new COD, with yearly milked sequels, rehashes and spinoffs? Yeah I'll pass. It's nice to know that Ubisoft is following Activision's trend. Because we all know, rehashed sequels are a lot better than new, fresh and creative IPs. Remember when sequels weren't released every year like a subscription, and that thought and creativity actually went into them? Good times.
  • I hope this new Assassin's Creed will be number 3. I want this story thread wrapped up on the same console. After they finish Desmond's story, they can do six monthly spin offs if they really want to.
  • #78 theres not gonna be a desmond story the game is not about HIM its about all the other shit a person in ubisoft not sure of his name and where i seen it sad there wont be a game just about desmond
  • They aren't milking AC just yet, but they're in danger of doing so. I suspect their DLC plan will now involve map packs and skins, given they seem to think the game's success is down to the MP side. Nothing to do with the awesome AC II, and people hearing Brotherhood was of pretty much the same quality. I just hope this doesn't have the devs going overboard with co-op options and focussing on the MP side. They've managed to strike a good balance here, despite initial concerns that they were just tacking on MP to please whiny kids on the net.
  • AC:B IS NOT AC3.
  • The ignorance of the CoD generation is now at fruition.. The end is nigh.
  • You know, for putting out a new game 3 years in a row, they really do a good job of making them amazing and not just cookie cutters. The story is indepth and interesting unlike some other yearly games.
  • Whoa, it's startling how many stupid people there are littering this community. Anyone that *actually* thinks that the franchise is being milked needs a serious headcheck. I'm only an hour, or so, into AC:B and I can already tell it's not some mere 'spin-off'. When a series manages to get better with each iteration, no-one has the right to call it milked. Call of Duty? That could be considered milked. Mario? Milked. Guitar Hero? Well, the udder has just about run dry over at Activision, let's just say that. It doesn't matter whether the games are *good*, when it comes to oversaturating the market, these are all main offenders. Three main Assassin's games so far on consoles doesn't constitute milking; especially when they're produced with such care and poise. C'mon people, smarten up.
  • A new game? Perhaps it's Assassin's Creed III...
  • Well...since its initial release in 2007, there have been eight Assassin's Creed games released across multiple platforms (AC, AC: Altair's Chronicles, AC: Bloodlines, AC2, AC2: Discovery, AC2: Multiplayer, AC: Project Legacy, and AC: Brotherhood) with up to two confirmed in development (AC: Lost Legacy and the game confirmed in the article, possibly AC3). So, in all so far, from 2007 to 2011, possibly ten or more games. Three of these released games have been on major consoles, ie, the Xbox 360, the PC, or the PS3. With that being said, the amount of spin offs on other platforms, be it the DS, the PSP, the iPhone, or even Facebook, may lead one to assume that the franchise, is indeed, being milked. Being milked on the consoles? No, not yet. Is the franchise as a whole being milked overall? Yes, methinks; quite a bit. But I haven't played the Assassin's Creed series much at all, so tbh, I don't have much of a place to talk. Just saying, both sides of the argument seem fairly valid.
  • @84 Mario may be milked but until this news thread appeared, I've never heard anyone complain about it. The Mario games are excellent for a milked series. They kick ass.
  • i need to fing what happens after AC2
  • im prtty sure there can b like an infintie amount of AC games
  • @ #22 Gears, Halo, and Mass Effect dont have a new game every year... COD IS milked... anyways.. i just love Assassins Creed's gameplay (for the most part, some of it is still sloppy) so i'll be playin the next one.. the mp was fun for a while, the 60% that have played the mp is not a stat they should advertise, wait a month and see how many of that 60% are still playin it, then record your stats... a franchise that keeps getting better will naturally sell more with each one, as far as i can tell most people just get annoyed when they add MP to good SP franchises...
  • The people that say it's being milked just don't want it to succeed. If they're smart, they'll keep releasing but very spaced out. The whole background is ripe for other content that wouldn't involve Desmond at all. This kind of genre (Angels & Demons-esque) is my favorite novel type and is what primariliy got me interested in Assassin's Creed. There are many more thought provoking mysteries and controversies on the subject that can be taken well advantage of aside from the Hashashin (Assassin Orders)
  • New AC game? Animal Crossing! Oh wait...
  • I just hope that (AC3 if it is called that) is good. To be quite honest, i dint like brotherhood that much. it felt like a choir to finish. (i spent $150 on the codex edition as well) but i was really hoping to see how desmonds story goes. But hopefully they do finish it off in this 1. My advice, NO MULTIPLAYER ACHOEVEMENTS, a bit better if a story. and hope it is not Ezio again ( I am not sick of him, just would like a new assassin to play as)but really just make the single player as best as possible for all of us who are buying these games
