If there’s one point that Deep Silver and Techland are looking to get across with their latest nail’d trailer, it’s that this isn’t your ordinary off-road ATV racer. Oh no, it looks as if nail’d will have you racing through saw-mills and jumping speeding trains when it ships in the next few months.
The game’s Adrenaline Rush trailer looks to highlight the game’s crazy antics and sheer speed, by giving you 1 minute of pure craziness – you can’t jump a quad bike at a hot air balloon... that’s sheer madness... or something.
According to Techland, nail’d will include 14 “epically big tracks” which will see you visiting the Yosemite National Park, the Andes Mountains, Arizona desert, and the Mediterranean with more mud flying around than your Sunday morning kick about down the park – that’s a Britishism if you’re interested.
Rather amusingly, the accompanying press release states that nail’d “is now acknowledged as the world’s fastest off-road arcade racing game”... Acknowledged by who? The design team’s parent, spouse and sibling association? Well sir, that surely doesn’t count.
nail’d is out November 30th in North America; coming to “Germany in November”; December 3rd in Spain; France and Benelux on January 14th and in the UK, Italy and Nordics on February 4th...
I don’t know about being acknowledged as the “the world’s fastest off-road arcade racing game,” but I hereby acknowledge it as having the most different release dates for a game in the history of mankind. It can at least be proud of that, right?
