| This game seems to be making sleeper waves like Singularity. It was announced and looked really cool but then - silence. Now I'm hearing great things about singularity and nada about Enslaved. Heard it's got a slight twist to Prince of Persia gameplay is all. |

I really thought Enslaved was going to be better than it was. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but the camera is frustrating, the platforming poses no challenge whatsoever and the combat gets stale. The story makes up for this and the voice acting is outstanding, so I was willing to put up with the flaws because I enjoyed the characters and the unique apocalyptic setting, but man, that camera was brutal.
As for the DLC, if it's priced right, I'll pick it up. I still have this on rental from Gamefly, so I might as well play the DLC while I have it. The idea of playing through all chapters again on Hard and finding all of the tech orbs isn't exactly appealing, but for the good of my gamerscore, I will endure the camera again. |
