Trials HD's Big Thrills DLC Dated, Priced & Cheevos Confirmed

In July, RedLynx announced their Big Thrills contest for their popular game, Trials HD, where budding level designers can create and submit their entries to get them not only immortalised in-game, but to win some impressive prizes as well.

After 3,000 entries, RedLynx today not only announced the 10 winners for the competition, but that the Big Thrills DLC would be released on December 1st with 40 tracks, 6 tournaments and 50 achievement points... all for a mere 400 Microsoft Points.

DrittesAuge won the competition, earning $5,000, a sweatshirt and flag, with nannerdw coming second, winning $3,000, a sweatshirt and flag, and xIRON WARLORDx grabbing the third place prize of $1,000, a sweatshirt and flag. The rest of the top 10 won a flag and Trials HD sweatshirt.

Hopefully it's actually 40 new tracks, and not a bunch of rehashed skill games. I'm not ungrateful, but I felt they kind of deceived everyone with that in the last DLC.

I can't wait for this. Trials is one of the best XBLA titles avaiable IMO. Love it!

This is a great game but in my opinion, It misses a 2 players mode. (splitscreen and online)

300/300 here I come. I can rest easy knowing that whatever the achievements are, I know I will be able to get them. Nothing they add could ever compete with Marathon...unless they do a Marathon 2.0... O_o

I play this game EVERY day. I just hope they aren't all "Extreme" tracks, cause while I really enjoy playing it, I'm just not "leet" enough to do those damn things.

Finally, something to look forward to in December.

I DETESTE the word CHEEVOS! It reminds me of Cheerios and I do not like those. Achievables is a much better term.

trials is great =D i hated it at first but then i got good at it....=] but could never get the hang of making levels to well =[
