With all the Kinect craziness that's been going on towards the back end of this week, it's easy enough to forget that there are a whole slew of other games hitting the shelves, and today, we take a look at a couple of the bigger action games.

The two games on the chopping board today are games that both rely on frying your retinas with more action than a Michael Bay teaser trailer. While The Force Unleashed II relies on the power of a certain Force to fling foes around at will, Vanquish kits you up in a ridiculously insane suit to battle the masses of mechs, robots and heavily armoured foes with slow-mo, powerful melee combos and more knee sliding than a Cristiano Ronaldo goal celebration. Can LucasArts build upon the foundations of the decent original and unleash the power of their sequel? Can Platinum Games make it 2 for 2?
