First we Euro's get Crapcom with the High Stakes and Full Zombrex Edition being US only. Now we get EA pulling this shit only giving us half of the DS2 Collectors Edition ammongst alot of the crap we get shafted on from other game companies.
Seriously, the fucks with all the Euro hate? Don't they recognise us even though we make them money too? TBH i'm just starting to get sick of game companies pulling this shit. |

| To those who aren't getting the Plasma Cutter deal - It's most likely going to be sold separately about a month or so afterwards at many websites. You'll probably find it cheaper on eBay within a months time anyway. Understand it's not the day of but it will be available in some manner. I always see stuff like this bought in bulk or someone gets a hold of a shipment and sells em. Keep the heads up. |

| due to the ps3 having the move out ea is putting dead space extraction on the disc for free in a limited edition, much like what they did with medal of honor on ps3 coming with frontline. so make sure you don't confuse the collectors edition with the limited edition. |

| @ 54 - Been dying for it since the game released. David Fincher (Fight Club & Seven) would do it justice but I feel J.J. Abrams would perfect it. Woudln't know until someone picked it up which apparently it's in a mystery pre-production. Who knows though. If you want something as close as it can be - Check out Solaris with George Clooney. Take out necromorphs and the crazy amount of gore and this movie is basically Dead Space. Similar plotline and it really gets you thinking about how far you would go to see someone again. |

| @ 61 - Supposedly the Plasma Cutter is titled the Collector Edition but it might as well be the Limited as there are limited quantities. I know there was an announcement for both but the collectors comes with the Plasma Cutter and Extraction (ps3). Honestly just wanted the sequel period. I'd pay up to $150 for whatever they decide to offer if the price went to that. This game is severely underrated and completely took the survival horror genre by storm as the top contender IMO. I miss RE's old style but loved 4's peripheral reconfiguration. |

I can perfectly understand why Europe isn't getting it, Hell, look at the Gears 2 Lancer, in the UK that had to be painted a bright colour because of all the bullshit laws against weaponry.
So I can imagine the red tape involved in trying to clear it across all of Europe.
However, even though logically it makes sense that it won't be over here, I'm still pissed off about it.
This time at least it isn't just the game's fault, it's all the legal bollocks, too.
As for importing it, I doubt that would go well. YOu would just end up with some bastard in customs taking it away with the reason of it being, "a replica gun", no matter how fictional it is then probably still get whacked with import tax for the gun-less edition. |
