um does anyone think ubisoft fucked with Ezios head size a bit?? and i hope they kept the dying of the clothes cuz i dont like white on ezio i perfered the Altair Armor u get in AC2

| I think I jus came in my pants! Can not wait! Don't beleive in all this 2.5 bull, they've explained why it isn't 2.5 and I'll take their word for it. If they do what they did with this and keep all the staff on expect the next Assassins Creed next year. Then everyone will probably moan they haven't taken their time with it. |

| This game is going to be sweet. But damn it comes out during a good year, by that I mean I got Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2, Fallout: New Vegas, to play before this. :( I'll still get on Day 1 but damn, my poor wallet. |

| My favourite franchise but with so many other new games and this one still using the same storyline, i will have to wait for Assassin's Creed 3, probably going to be with a new game engine as well |

| It's amazing how fast these games are made seeing as how much detail and texture you need to put in. Rarely any glitches that bad seeing as how immense and big the map is. This and SR3 are definitely on my wish list. |

I want this now. Like, immediately. There are so many new ways to murder people that I don't even know what I want to try first. PROBABLY THE SPEAR. And oh god I can kill people from horses and vault over ropelines from the saddle and CALL AMBUSHES. WHILE I'M STILL MOVING ON MY OWN AND KILLING PEOPLE. asdfghjkl;
I have never been so stoked for a game before. Ever. Oddly, I'm now even more excited about the Doctor Jack-in-the-Box I'll be getting.
That's it, I'm booking the day off of work. This is worth vacation time. :O
Also, I've been playing ACI again obsessively because of those fucking flag achievements, and when Ezio is jumping through the ruins at 1:03, I SWEAR I thought it was the part in the Kingdom where all of the Saracen archers are hiding and Templar bodies are all over the place.
Looks a hell of a lot like it, just less... destroyed. |

| Not as excited for this as asscreed II. It loooks almost the same as the last one with a few tweaks that will be worn out rather soon. The changes they made from 1 to 2 were numerous and huge compared to the ones from 2 to brotherhood. Still buying for sure though. Poral 2 ftw |

Noxymoron19, what else do you think they could have changed? I don't think it's just a "few tweaks" -- so far as I can see, the style of combat has shifted drastically, the strategies a player will/can use are vastly different, the point of the game is nowhere close to the goals of II, AND YOU GET TO SPEAR PEOPLE THROUGH THE MOTHERFUCKIN' CHEST.
...Sorry. Got a little excited there. In all seriousness, though, this seems like a whole new ballgame to me, so to speak. As much as it "recycles" the characters from II (or kills them off -- alas, poor Mario, we hardly knew ye), it also appears to be a game that can honestly stand on its own gameplay-wise rather than just function as an extension of II. The dev team seems to have put a hell of a lot of thought and effort and care into this.
In reference to the massive changes from I to II were in response to the complaints about I. I haven't actually heard any complaints about II, except that maybe it was hard to process the awesome. I'm sure they're out there; I just haven't taken the time to hunt them down, because I personally have no complaints. The fact that they seem to have IMPROVED on II just blows me away. Hell, it even makes me WANT to do multiplayer. And I hate playing with others.
So what would you have changed/added/whatever?
(Please note that I'm not being sarcastic or bitchy; I'm honestly curious and would like to hear your thoughts. It's hard to judge a person's tone over the internet, so I just wanted to clarify that.) |

1:39... Holy shit.
I got AC2 a year ago, DID NOT like it. After hearing about this new one, I thought I'd give the second a try again. Love it now! Will be getting this... I don't know what turned me off from number two. I guess that it went from the simplicity of the first one's assassinations to a more diverse and conventional campaign set me off. Really, REALLY enjoying it now. |
