PAX 2010: Interview: We Chat With 2K About Mafia II's Jimmy's Vendetta DLC

Today's Mafia II DLC, Jimmy's Vendetta, has slipped on to the Xbox Live Marketplace today and we caught up with Production Assistant at 2K Games, Dan Schmittou, at PAX 2010 this weekend to see what we can expect for our money.

Promising 5 hours of gameplay, plenty of action-orientated missions, a more sandboxy environment and hinting that more Mafia II DLC is on the cards, join us as we delve deeper into the DLC.

Wonder if the next DLC will be super soon too? Hopefully making the 1000miles achievement lest of an immediate grind and more of 'I'll probably earn this anyway through the other DLC too'.

instead of being out partying at PAX they should of been fixing the title update so this DLC would actually work.

@7: The next DLC is rumored to be released on 9/21. It should be either the "Joe's Adventures" DLC or the PS3 exclusive "Betrayal of Jimmy" DLC

It's also rumored besides Jimmy's Vendetta", the next four DLC's are already on the disc awaiting finishing touches.

Why couldn't 2K let Irrational Games make the game and the dlc? Irrational Games created Bioshock for pc, xbox360 and look how that turned out.

I called xbox support< they went through all this BS and had me check and redownload it >> And I asked if they just released it too soon without any quality control and got "Its an issue with the DLC download" and not Microsofts issue >>> Way to pass the buck

At least it offers a bit more replayability, the main game consisted of just the story, or getting collectibles. Unfortunately with the Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age DLC out, Jimmy your going to have to wait

man... i LOVED Mafia II absolutely loved it the best game sense Mass Effect 2 however this DLC was a HUGE dissapointment, i would recommend you pass on it, The strongest element of Mafia II was the great story and this DLC is completely void of it not to mention all the missions are out in the open so police constantly fuck everything up if you hated them in the normal game then this DLC is going to make you want to drive down to your local gun shop pick up a shot gun drive down to your local police station and kill them due to the frustration their Pixelated counterparts caused you.
