I don't understand it when people say that multiplayer ruined BioShock 2. If a person enjoyed the single player, then how does not liking the multiplayer ruin that? What effect does the multiplayer have on a person's enjoyment of the main story? You can't say that they wasted time on multiplayer that could have been spent on single player because a different company did the multiplayer...not 2K Marin. For me, BioShock beats the sequel hands down, but the laggy multiplayer had no effect on that decision or me enjoyment of the single player. It was a good game, just not as good as the first. OT: This game on the other hand looks like it could be up there with BioShock. I know it is a long ways out, but man is it looking nice. It just has that BioShock quality feel to it, doesn't it? |

| at #7 probably cause it screws up their achievement percentage, as they probably want em all. |

| @8 so then i think people need to start complaining about the multi player achievements rather than the multi player itself |

| @ #7 Also it seems like they could have done more with the single player but instead of a dlc for campaign all they put out until now was maps no one played. The trials dlc and the most recent one seem kind of like an after thought because they realized no one wanted to play the multiplayer and that releasing new maps wouldn't earn even half of what they could earn from releasing single player stuff. |

@10 How do you know no one is playing these? Is it just your opinion or do you have some facts saying that no one is playing the MP? Can't wait for this, a new setting is exactly what Bioshock needed. I still remember exploring Rapture for the 1st time, I hope it will be the same with the new city. I hope they keep the MP, I liked it. |

I will definitely be picking this up just because the single player is amazing. And now that they say they are going to have new weapons and tonic makes me even more excited! @12 You should definitely pick up the first one; it is too good of a game not to. |

| Sounds interesting but it should be a new title and not Bioshock. It just seems to me that there are plenty of stories left to tell in Rapture. |

| @3 Multiplayer can't ruin a game, you know why? You just don't play the mulitplayer. If this is about your achievement percentage then achievements can ruin games anyway, it's no different to when a game forces you to play on a high difficulty and you get frustrated with it. |

why does everyone hate on the multiplayer? personally i think its fairly good if but a little laggy at times but most online things are. the multiplayer in no way makes bioshock 2 a bad game, personally it makes it better, and last longer the only problem would be the short campaign and the less interesting antagonist than Ryan. |

| @17 Roar! If you didn't like it then you shouldn't have played it. The only thing that ruined Bioshock 2 was the way it tried and failed to mimic the success of the original Bioshock. |

Stop bitching about Bioshock 2 multiplayer. It was fun to play for some (myself included) and lame for others. Bottom line, you did not have to play it to experience amazing single player, so STFU^^ On topic: Damn you and your videos - I can't watch these at work so would much rather read it than watch it, and now I have to wait until I get home in more than 6 hours! |

| multiplayer isn't my strong point but thats not to say i hate it. But Bioshock is one of those games that doesn't need multiplayer, it's find the way it is- number one was proof of that. |

Here's the thing: I think everybody needs to stop hating so much. Obviously this is going to be a quite different Bioshock experience being as it's in the clouds. Here's a thought though, maybe it will be even more sinister because the darkness won't be coming largely from the lighting effects, but actually from the characters in contrast to the overly patriotic and bright atmosphere. I think that will have even more weight to it. As far as multiplayer. If you don't like it, don't play it. Pretty simple solution. |
