@3 lol on topic, GH:WoR is seems to be turning into a pretty badass game, i think il be making the purchase when it arrives :DTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 08:48 AM
Looks like I'll need a second kick pedal for the expert drums. Bring it on!Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 08:53 AM
I wish there weren't a billion games coming out in the next few months, otherwise I'd definitely buy this. I'll just have to rent it for now.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 09:03 AM
I love Dave. I am proud to say I seen him LIVE this year! ROCK ON!!!!!Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 09:06 AM
I haven't played much GH since legends of rock, but this sounds good and looks damn hard. Now if only they can make Rap Hero, then I'll be set!Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 09:07 AM
Haven't we known about this? I guess the trailer is new, though.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 09:40 AM
Dave Mustaine is my hero....been to see Megadeth live 5 times and they are the best.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 09:41 AM
Fuck metallica.........Its always been about MegadetHTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:11 AM
DAVE MUSTAINE RULES. Megadeth fucking KICK ASS!Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:12 AM
@11 If it wasn't for Metallica, there'd be no Megadeth. Just letting you know... This is why I'm buying Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock instead of Rock Band 3. The true bands know which game to support and this is just the icing on the cake...Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:25 AM
(heart) Dave Mustaine (heart) Megadeth (heart) - none of what I originally typed showed up? Oops, double post? lol? Going to see them tonight. I believe this is my fifth time, haha. On-topic, so looking forward to this game. (Well, -and- Rock Band 3, but RB3's setlist has nothing on this one, in terms of what I *prefer* . . . I just love music as a whole too much to pass on it.)Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:33 AM
GH:WOR looks badass, and will be fun for a whole 5 days, even though the set list is closer to to godly metal side it will still get boring fast because its the sameee oldddd guitar hero, it just has a cooler story. RB3 has an ok setlist many say its amazing, it does have like 10 wicked epicccccc songs but w/e not enough metal for me, buttttt RB does have a music store that kickssssssssss asssssss and i have about 270 dlc and counting, and RB3 is actually saving this genre, if it werent for rb3 to come and save things in october, GH:WOR will be the last guitar/band based game o and DAVE MUSTAINEEE is the freakin man, but i already have rust in peace and peace sells? more would be amaaaaaaaaaaazing but the sound of dave mustaine making a song for "difficulty" sounds soooo lame, if its a good song tho and with 2112 in that set gh is an eassssssssy rent for a week or two then get myself ready for RB3 and learning to play REAL instruments =DTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:35 AM
@11 fuck you buddy, Metallica always comes first, then megadeth ALWAYYSSSSTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:40 AM
@11 GTFO, Metallica will always be the "Masters of Metal." that being said, i do enjoy me some Megadeth, this looks EPICTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 10:49 AM
"Sudden death" by Megadeth will be in this game, as will "Holy wars...The Punishment Due" and "This day we fight!". Wow three Megadeth songs that 's a first.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 11:16 AM
@11, @everyone I loved Guitar Heroes 2 and 3. They were challenging. The best feeling was beating Jordan on Expert for the first time, or beating Through the Fire and Flames on expert for the first time. The past guitar heroes just weren't as challenging as their predecessors. Warriors of Rock looks like they are trying to bring that challenge back, and people will have those GH2/GH3 feelings again. I hope it turns out good, and i'm surprised at myself for actually wanted to buy another music game.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 12:29 PM
I hate the fact that linkon park is in Gh(which I feel they don't deserve it). But Megadeth, I'll be playing each song until I at least 5 star each of thier songs on Hard and maybe Expert.Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 12:52 PM
Seen dave live this year, hes amazing and hes like totaly awesome :), can't wait for this gameTuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 01:29 PM
Doesn anyone know if Children of the Grave will have the guitar intro?Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 07:45 PM
@7 and 18, are you serious?? FUCK YOU, Megadeth wil allways be better than Metallica. There are levels, and Megadeth is above Metallica. ME-GA.DETHWednesday, September 01, 2010 @ 01:21 AM
@everyone who states a band is better then another one your opinion alone will only ever matter to you, as soon as more people realize that there would be way less fighting in this world. Don't get me wrong I have my preferences on bands but that's just because my interests vary from other people, so quit your bitching and enjoy the fact Megadeth created a song for a game, I haven't seen many other big named bands do that, so kudos to them. Will give this a rent but I swore off buying GH games after it became a semi-annual thing.Wednesday, September 01, 2010 @ 10:24 AM
Could be a good game, if it wasn't for the hit system. Even if they didn't bring back the WT hit system as the primary one, ALL THEY NEED TO DO IS HAVE IT AS AN OPTION FFS! Guitar Hero has officially been ruined.Sunday, September 12, 2010 @ 01:18 PM
megadeth is so fuckin' awesomeThursday, September 30, 2010 @ 12:21 AM
if gh is ruined then I sure love me some ruined games

Heavy metal band, Megadeth have created an exclusive new track especially for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Nice, you might think, but the track - entitled "Sudden Death" - will also act as the game's final test, as you journey with the Demigod of Rock to defeat The Beast. Or something like that.
This new trailer looks at the Megadeth track created by lead vocalist, Dave Mustaine, who is also on hand to talk us all through it and show us how stupidly difficult it looks.
Be warned though: you might find this trailer a little on the spoilerific side, as it shows bits from the game's final battle. Don't say we didn't give you a heads up.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is due out on September 28th, 2010 in the US and September 24th, 2010 in Europe. Check out our preview, fresh outta Gamescom. Rock on.
