| @3, I believe (and yes, kinda :( ) that the voice changes only ever apply to Firefight. Regardless of your voice selection, in campaign, you get one of the two default...unless you're not concerned about that part. |

I love Halo, I cannot stand the fans love of MC though. I for one was glad to be rid of him in ODST, and look forward to giving him several energy swords to the face in Reach.
That being said, this game will be the greatest experience on Xbox Live this year. Literally everyone is getting it. |

@27 actually, the lady (who might be dr. halsey?) says "there is only one other spartan with that rating" which i assume is referring to master chief. so that would mean that noble 6 is different than the chief.

@30 Master Chief didn't lead Noble Team, he led the Spartan IIs, not IIIs.
I'd be surprised if anyone thought the Mark VI armour wouldn't be in the game, especially since it was seen through a glitch in the beta. |

The engine is much much better than halo 3! the game is difficult/ yet still challengingly fun on normal solo!.. that legendary solo achievement is gonna be quite difficult xD |

@27 ya it looks like shes talking to someone to not just looking away. (courtana) and agrees with her that they picked the same spartan.( noble 6 aka young master chief) and prob give him a sweet new spartan 2 suit!! hes such a bad ass tho when he jumps off the ship freefalling to planet couttana mentions that he was no diffreent then the other spartans she was looking at he only had one this...LUCK

The Arbiter as you know him from the Halo games cannot possibly be in Reach. He only became the Arbiter at the start of Halo 2, (November 2552?). Perhaps Thel will make an appearance as a Shipmaster, rather than the Arbiter.
That said, you could always meet the current Arbiter, i'm not sure whether it'll be the same on from Halo Wars. If it is, then that would be pretty sweet. I'd enjoy kicking his ass, he's a douche.

I have a strong feeling that what you saw in the Vidoc was Dr. Halsey talking to another AI about which Spartan she chose to "hitch a ride" with. She said "great minds think alike" which I'm almost positive is Halsey referring to the fact that Cortana chose John-117. See, Cortana was an AI built around a digital clone of the mind of Dr. Halsey, the UNSC had a tendency of cloning the brains of their top scientists in order to form the foundation of their top clearance AIs. She also talked about Noble six' history and combat effectiveness and said that only one other Spartan had such an exemplary record (Chief.)
I think that Noble Six will have similarities to Master Chief. For most intents and purposes he will be the Master chief, but fact is he is a new character who is probably ten or twenty years younger. Is he the master chief though? No.
Also, for anyone who hasn't read any back story, Dr. Halsey was the scientist who pioneered the Spartan program. |

| Oh, poo. I REALLY wanted him to make a real cameo in the campaign. Maybe Sgt Johnson or Buck still have a shot at making a campaign cameo. I mean, Bungie, this is your last Halo game, and so many important Halo characters were involved with Reach in some capacity; they deserve to be at least recognized in something more than Firefight, imo! |

| ok first off i cant wait for this game, it will be one big thrill ride. and secondly we will never see chiefs face. im sorry to dissapoint you #15 its never going to happen. ever! and as far as playing as chief goes... iven been playing as chief for the past 7 years and honestly... its gotten kinda boring. im looking forward to playing as noble 6. and im finnaly glad to see a halo game with good customization like vegas 2. very impressed with bungie's performance on this go around. props! |
