How can they just sit down in the middle of a queue.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 01:50 PM
Been to the Gamescom last year and it was a disappointing excercise in waiting in queues. Of six hours on the showfloor, four and a half were spent waiting between. You're better off at home watching the news/videos on the internet.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:04 PM
@8 wat.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:16 PM
you show that ugly dude where are the babes????Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:21 PM
Great pics. The Rock Band 3 one looked exactly like Rock Band 2 though. Also, look at the floor on some of those pics. Gamers are some messy people. Pick up your damn trash. Saw the Diablo 3 one. Any interesting news on it?Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:25 PM
That German guy is a bro, that's for sure.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:35 PM
Loving the NewVegas sign! And I think Louis seems more realistic as a guy in a dress shirt. You can't have 3 vagrants.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:43 PM
@16 - Booth babes and cosplay are to come ;)Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 02:46 PM

I was there on Saturday and it was indeed very busy. Next time I will never go to Gamescom on weekend.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 03:21 PM
@ 16 Lady Greaver Yip, I've already learned that lesson in the past - this time though, I was back in Britain by the weekend LOL. This GC was the best one yet - T'was amazing... And there are soooooo many awesome games due out in the next 6 months. Roll on next year - if I can even afford it though, after I buy all the games I want :)Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 03:39 PM
Is it just me, or in the picture below of "michael jackson's" feet does it look it's a guy in a dress?Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 04:26 PM

Was that a yellow submarine game?Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 05:40 PM

lol @ 10, i thought the same thing about "that" louis, wouldnt want to mess with him! he's so gangsta! annyways, i would love to attend a show like this, whether it be e3, gamescon, tokyo game show, etc, at some point in my life. where i live, the best we get is the Manitoba Comic-con, which i havent even been to either.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 06:23 PM
@25 vampx, did you just say age of empires , hope so , I will pay over 2000 mspoints if that hit xbl arcade. Age of empire 2 age of kings was one of my best games of All times, I mastered halo wars and became a general online. Hoping ensemble studios make a return after they close down, vampx , where did you get the idea of age of empires, I didn't see the gallery yet, and hoping halo wars 2 will come out, but thinking of halo wars 2 , I can't think of anything they can make better apart from graphic and detailSunday, August 22, 2010 @ 06:29 PM
just a question guys, anything from lucasarts? more specifically, a battlefront 3 perhaps? i doubt it, but it never hurts to ask. and no offense anyone, but i wanna try that LEGO universe, looks pretty neat, lol.Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 06:35 PM
We all live in a yellow submarine...sing along everybody!Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 07:09 PM
why is there a monkey smoking a pipe???Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 08:20 PM
I'm curious about the picture below the Kinect/Tai Chi picture. Is that a mascot for "Metal Gear Virgin: Out of Mom's Basement" featuring the return of a hard drive-reading Psycho Mantis? "So, you play 'Dead or Alive' and 'Rumble Roses' too much?"Monday, August 23, 2010 @ 05:37 AM
Last pic was very funnyMonday, August 23, 2010 @ 11:10 AM
Damn right I'll have a yellow submarine in my living room by 2012!Monday, August 23, 2010 @ 11:13 AM

Gamescom 2010 is over and while the crowds leave the Koelnmesse behind for another year, we did our best to immortalise the action from the show floor and bring the essence of it to your living rooms right now.
If you didn't have the pleasure to head out this year, then fear not, we have you covered, bringing you shots of everything from the stands, all the way through to some stunning pieces of art that found its home on the show floor.
To check out all 126 shots head on over to the gallery, but before you do, take a look at our sample few with some trademark humorous captions. Who says they're humorous? Why us of course. D'uh.
Stick around for the next few weeks while we report back on everything we saw. Don't miss it. There are some stunning games that you need to prepare yourself for.
The NFS Hot Pursuit cop car was a welcome sight for EA's press conference attendees.
Can anyone say busy, busy, busy?
It wouldn't be Gamescom without beautiful cars parked in the middle of the halls. Funny place to park though.
Queuing is part and parcel of any consumer games show... especially if you wanted to see Portal 2!
Michael Jackson was in full-force at this year's show... well, his feet were.
Forget 3D, this is the future. There will be one of these in every house by the year 2012.
Mario and Luigi's attempt to blend into the crowd failed on almost every level.
Are the crowds stressing you out? Then why not try a spot of Tai Chi.
Forget Wesley Snipes and Jean Claude Van Damme, we have ouselves a new superstar action hero.
The business centre on Saturday was a proverbial ghost town.
Ladies and gents, let us present the suitably epic Fallout: New Vegas stand on the show floor.
The game art stand was a gamer's wet dream... as proved by this stunning piece of Red Alert artwork.
There was even a place for Guybrush.
Does this interesting piece of Left 4 Dead art reveal what the original cast may have looked like in the concept stages?
Wanted: One German punter who decided it was a wise idea to stand in front of the camera while we were snapping pics. He didn't just walk past, he stopped, oblivious of our 3 man team with two cameras and a tripod. If you see him, tell him thanks.
